Its not all of the time, but most of the time people go around on their own having smaller, individual battles, i think its best when your with your clan and you go round with them, using teamwork.

its 1 of the best battlefield games out, but i think battlefield 2 is still better only because its less competative and was made for fun, 2142 was made to push u onto getting the best of the best, and it took me about 3 days 2 go from private to brigadear general, VERY fast game play, u should like it, if u like bf2
