This was debunked. Turns out that the way the painting was mass produced gave it mild flame resistant qualities as well as the fact that since the painting would typically be found face down that would protect it from a lot of the flames. Its not haunted just damn well made lol

All of this really happened, but can be logically explained. Someone, I think on bbc, did some testing and found out that the pictures were painted with varnish containing fire repellant. If a fire broke out, the string holding up the picture would snap first and the picture would fall down face-first, meaning it was protected when a fire was going on.

Doing a quick google search helps a lot of times. It took me barely a minute to find this out :P.

the painter was a pedophile that successfully had his way with the boy from the ages of 11 to 14. He painted the boy in his finest moment of beauty. The boy was way into it and they would roll in the hay under the picture numerous times. This went on for 3 & 1/2 years. Over time the boy developed tastes for other boys his age. This hurt the painter so bad that he shot himself in the head. After he was dead the boy realized how much he unconditionally loved the 28 yr painter & went insane himself
