I think people should stop asking Liam if he's actually blind. He is. If you look at the last video, he thought E. Honda was Balrog and then had trouble crushing the car. In this video, he was punching the wrong way in the barrels. Then he made a comment about how hard it is to memorize 35 voices. He didn't lnow his rival was Sagat until they said the name. And why would someone lie about such a serious disability?

@mariofan1200 Ken and Ryu are not rivals, they are friends who trained together. I used to think the same as you til I watched the animes.

@mariofan1200 Akuma is Ryus rival. They use similar fighting techniques. Ryu harnessed the power of the Dark Hadou which was what consumed Akuma.

Something else worth noting, Sagat's chest scar is from his 1st battle with Ryu and ever since then he has sworn revenge.

Ken and Ryu could been seen as rivals in the game since they study almost identical fighting styles but their not /rivals/ like in a story sense y'know? Also, turns out that Ken is actually stronger than normal Ryu!

@pkmngod In this game, pending if you lose a round against your opponent (3 round matches). You can fight your second rival in the game. I don't think you can do that with the new characters like Guy, Cody, Hakan, etc.

due to seth in strret fighter iv my controller now has bit marks all over it. I was trying to get the beat gouken on hardest achivement I had all of the first attacks,perfects,ultra combos aand no losses then seth continuasly did the zangief move were he takes you up in to the air and slams your neck to the floor ahhhhhhhhh lol

No if u played ken his rival is ryu and if u played ryu his rival wil always be sagat and rufus ken steet fighter 4 rival is now dee jay rival and they should of made seth and bison rivals in this game and gouken and akuma rival in this game but they didnt

If you push LP+MP+HP or LK+MK+HK [which are button sets] you get different rivals

Only a few characters have alternates too. I think like 6?
