  • @fralo70 hey im glad u mentioned about jc playing the harp ,,just makes this video much better cheers

  • I'm only listening to this because The Outsiders I wouldn't have know about any Elvis songs ifit weren't for that movie :P

  • @purple68424 same here lol

  • OUTSIDERSSZZ movie

  • @koolgirl287 best movie evarrrr

  • These Karaoke versions are good a very nice rock a billy style voice .Reminiscent of the Rock a Billy Trio It is however not Elvis and its a real insult to an artist to be so little respect to use their name without permission. No one with any respect for Elvis would try such a cheap trick to get some listeners. Get a life man. Have enough pride in yourself and respect for Elvis to use your real name or just call your self the bedroom karaoke hero.

  • @scottduncan44 sounds like Elvis to me...

  • the 50s he made great r&r 60s with the crap films &ccrap music

  • Way back after our Great "President Lincoln" was assassinated, a long black train, took his remains all across this country......something about "Long Black Trains" make us all feel sad.....

  • i heard dis song in the outsiders movie nd i fell in love with it

  • true legend,best voice in music,history!!ELVIS!!

  • Meine erste platte ich liebe fifties ELVIS

  • @jandarma6

please, check your info before spreading false stuff. you really don't have to pretend you know what you are talking about when you are actually not knowing what you are talking about. Rock history is a serious matter to a lot of people. you can't jerk off your mouth anything about Rock.

    Thanx Pokechoppah93 for rectifying.

  • Beautiful! And even more remarkable that for such a driving number there is no drummer - just Scotty, Bill and Elvis.

  • So few words can make so many visual images. Thanks, Elvis for a great ride.

  • love this song heard it for the first time that one summer in 2009 what a glorious magical summer that was this song reminds me of that wonderful time !!!

  • this song was his first one this one made him a legend

  • Actually, jandarma6, the song that made got him his record deal with Sam Phillips was "That's Alright, Mama". This is actually one of his lesser-known songs.

  • @Pokechoppah93 actually Old Shep was the first recording for Sam Phillips. That's alright mama was the first radio aired song.

  • @dnwal3 "That's Alright, Mama" was the song that made him, though. That's what I mean. He had various songs that he rendered, but only a handful ever became well-known.

  • @dnwal3 i know im a bit late with the reply but here goes

this is the song that got elvis noticed by sam phillips... he walked in off the street and sang this for sam and he got signed

  • @dnwal3 no my happiness was his first recording, and then he done i'll never stand in your way during and thats when your heartaches begin before he grew frusterated and busted into thats alright

  • One of his Best|||||

  • great rockabilly

  • Yes sir/madame. He was born 1/8/35 and passed on 8/16/77. That would put him at 42 years of age at the time of his passing.

  • He was only 19 when he recorded this song. I wish I had that kind of voice and talent at 19. Only the King could have such power so young.

  • @drfenderfunk It was recorded july 11 at sun records Elvis was then 20 years

  • This is the Elvis that the great Sam Phillips heard. Or, this is the Elvis, with the great Scotty Moore on guitar, before Col. Tom Parker became Elvis' manager and Elvis lost his edge. One of the great covers of the immortal Jr. Parker's great songs...

  • sublime

  • G-R-E-A-T !!!

  • I love it thanks for posting this , long live Elvis.
