To help differentiate between (TB) and (Sacoidosis) we should know that TB causes "caseating granuloma" but Sarcoidosis causes "NON-caseating granulomas" which means there is NO "necrosis" in the center of the granulmoa but in the case of TB there is necrosis in the center of granuloma.
whats so frustrating about this condition is that "the etiology is unknown." Its hard to learn about these conditions when there is no "why" involved in the explanation.
A giant cell is a mass formed by the union of several distinct cells, usually white blood cells called macrophages. It becomes multinucleated. It can arise in response to an infection or foreign body. You can google for more information.
hello helpful, think husband saw this & said i better be sure i track symptoms. i know mcs went to such connections. thyroid liver lung anatomy camy clear in effects. yet methodical watch's more than on mercury, food's enzymatic toning does merge us too. plain rebounding finishing touch energy from finesse in that stage. knots vanished from my ankles, or smoothest not just again surface. chill still tingles first there like sinews inmost injured. not ignoring what's not palpable if to total calm
had for a year and then it went away. it was discovered when i was getting a chest x-ray and they seen my lymph nods were swollen. that was all there was to it, if the x-ray didn't happen i would have never had known. only other symptom was red sensitive blotches on my face, which i still get from time to time.
I have them every where, on my legs, arms, face, buttocks, and back. I have the full stages of sarcoidosis. I was in the military, toured overseas to South Korea
I want to know if anyone else has these sores on their nose like I do Cutaneous Sarcoidosis of Nose (Lupus Pernio) & did you work at Hanford a nuclear power plant In Richland Wa?

What are giant cells? I've never heard of that before. It sounds vague.

@blobvision examples are epithelioid and multinucleated giant cells (differentiated macrophages)
