  • Wraioi!!

  • Incredible car. Makes me really miss my '82 SR5 corolla. I felt like it was too rough to be restored, but now I am having second thoughts. Too late. And I would NOT lower that car anymore thats perfect.

  • What subframe did you use for you to install the 16v on it

  • @Tony20v the stock one from the AE70,just had to trim a bit of it to fit the oil pan

  • nice work man. 22 people don't appreciate a good ride. the paint is similar to fords "blueprint blue"

  • really nice job... personally i would make it a bit lower though.

  • your car isn,t a 79 is an 83 or 84

  • thats a proper track !

  • I like the colour code on it. Whats the paint code?

  • @upgrades23hike its a custom paint,similar to subaru color.

  • top job bro.. nice parts

  • how much did it cost all together?

  • OMG greddy brakes and suspension xD sweet~

  • good job mate! :)

  • nice work

  • that is GORGEOUS man your so lucky, 2 years but were you working often on it, like more than 4-5 horus a week?

  • i luv corollas

  • Nice work, I love it ! =)

  • da mn i saaw like 3 in cebu so nice

  • BRAVOO!!! great restoration!!!!

  • youtube.com/watch?v=7foQ9-IKqkk Check out this video commercial of a 79 Liftback. Totally different body style and dashboard from the one in this video! I owned one just like the one in the commercial - brown too.

  • It is a 1979 model. it says so on the metal plate in the engine bay...

  • @yanihluigi Weird, I thought the AE70's only came in 82 83, and KE and TE were 79 to 82

  • I am confused. I owned a 79 Corolla and it didn't look like this one. In the States this one was an 80 Corolla or newer. So have you got the year wrong or did this model come from somewhere where the newer body style was introduced earlier than in the States?

  • what needed rebuilding to fit in the 4age and its transmission?

  • what a weapon!

  • gow much did you spend rebuilding this car men,,(total)??

  • Holy cow!!! 6 pot brakes!!! Damn massive stopping power!

  • great job brother ......!!!!!!

  • brilliant build, but how would you consider this as how the japs would do it?

  • hey how did you paint your cage? this is a amazing build!

  • cause its true dumbass and if u dont live in L.A then dont say shyt cause u probably havent even seen them and im not disgracing mexicans in any way cause i happen to have mexican friends dipshyt

  • normally i wouldnt even do this but...i happen to be one of many mexicans in L.A. who all follow very traditional J,D,M car styles and have proudly owned a ae71 corolla for over 15 yrs sir i can very much call you out on making a verry ignorant comment---and by the way that is a very nice "lowrider" colored corolla!---props yanihluigi!

  • wow nice ride and sweet fix up at least ur not like mexicans or any other race that does this well in my city of los angeles they fix up old 1980s japanese cars to look like impprts or low riders and they look ugly as fuck and cant even go fast lol as like my dad says when u blink an eye while a mexican goes vroom he or shes still there but on a real sports car u cant see shyt anymore lol but anyways nice ride and sweet fix up

  • you are a complete ignorant moran sir!-------nice e70!

  • Sweet ride!!!, Where did you manage to locate a RHD one that was in such good shape before restoration?

Personally still trying to find a decent TE-72 that doesn't have a see thru trunk.

  • Waoh! It's great !Its colour very beautiful and attractive !What about this car if driven by Keiichi Tsuchiya in Best Motoring Hot Version Touge Battle?I think he will like it also...Hahaha !4 throttles engine sound is really amazing!!Not only AE86 becomes famous, other Toyota old cars like other AE/KE/TE/ series also become popular now...

  • Car is awesome! Perfect..

  • Some nice work as well

  • Anyone with a brain can flip a chassis.....

  • unless they look different in japan... that is not a 1979

  • How much did it take you to restore it to such an amazing condition?

  • where do you find nice deep dish rims like that? and how much? (specify currency)

everything is made to suit front wheel drives these days.......

  • Thats the AMERICAN way to restore on a Japanese car.

  • wuts the japenese way then?

  • These techniques were mastered by American muscle car restorer's, Japanese cars are fixed with aftermarket junk, stamped out of a press in China, available on Ebay free shipping
