Dean guitars videos have demoed this amp and they actually produced the famous Dime tone out of it. Its just the sad fact that no one knows how to properly set up setting on an amp the way Dime and his tech did. I thinks Dean guitars videos got him (the guitar tech) to dial in the tone for their vid.

i got the head, its pretty alright standing alone. put in an EQ and some overdrive and it'll blow your fucking head off. you can probably get the dime tone out of it but you'd need the furman pq4 and the flanger doubler and all that :P its a great amp for the price in my opinion.

Usually everything with the name Dime on it sounds really badass... and/or looks badass. Deans are overpriced tho... Like a Razorback 225 with the flames is jus fucking beautiful looking... But it costs almost 1500 dollars for it. It comes loaded with EMG pickups and not even an original Floyd rose bridge. Dean guitars are more for show then for go. EMGS are amazing tho, but the only good tremolo from floyd rose, is the original. Dean uses dimebag's priceless name to get millions... so do others

I don't understand what all the negativety about this amp is. The original designer of Dime's Randall amp created it along with Grady. You are not going to meet two people who know more about his tone.

The amp looks as if its going to be reasonably priced as well. The krankenstein's I've seen retail for £1,600.

i heard an really intresting sorty about dimebag taste of amps..at one point he really desired an ENGL amp but he could never get one, casue the guys who had the ENGL and showed it to him wouldnt give him the amp. it might sounds like this is some stupid comment from out of the blue but that is the truth. but dime did have a great taste in amps and it helpd produce the sounds and classic tones of southern metal
