  • This is a cool glimpse into a great concert moment in The King's last year of life! This was actually performed the day I was born and I discovered when looking for the top song when I was born. Very neat, thanks for posting!!

  • The fading King still could sing his ass off. Elvis still had his magnificent voice. That's why his was the Man. The Undisputed King of Rock.

  • rush sucks ass

  • o melhor de todos sempre.Elvis é imortal.

  • Even when he doesn't know the song he still knocks it out of the ball park!

  • I bet elvis presley would of done this song on the concert he would of done the day adter he died if he was alive tll then

  • I bet elvis presley would of done this song on the concert he would of done the day after he died

  • elvis sucks

  • @MultiRushfan cant prove that im afraid cause every song he has ever done has been damn amazing! So that means YOU suck. Aint you got no ear's?

  • @MultiRushfan go to hell

  • @MultiRushfan sorry but the world disagrees with you.

  • @MultiRushfan you sucks

  • grande Elvis

  • I like Elvis and all His music; but , lets face it, this is joke of a show. Tell me if I am wrong please.... How can a great singer like He was forget about a song or when he recorded it, or even more, play that stupid as He did by not knowing one of the best song He recorded......? Maybe was a fix show, or maybe he was so druged that He did not know His name. How sad. Other than that..... I like His music.

  • quelle voix,il est irramplacable,je l adore!!

  • please someone has a video where Elvis sings only you .... not find it anywhere ... if someone has posted it to me in my page can you tube ???... thanks

  • I have to agree with Fishaman. His voice wasn't what it used to be. From 1974 on his voice changed and to me only on rare occasions he managed to sing really good. He could handle songs like Hurt with almost singing in kind of a opera style. But the subtleness in his voice was gone.

  • genial,une voix inoubliable...pour toi phil.

  • Fisherman 1980 there was nothing wrong with Elvis' voice at the end. Listen to all the footage that RCA and CBS recorded on his last three stops and you'll see what I mean. There were some that didn't sound that good but most are over the top.

  • Man.....I love Elvis, but you could definately tell he was in bad shape just by listening to this. He had a severely impacted colon and I think thats a big reason why his voice went. My favorite Elvis era was 1968-1970. Comeback special and the Thats the Way it Was concert special. We miss you Elvis! RIP

  • @fishaman1980 very very wrong

listen to his voice in the later years ther is many examples such as hurt and way down

your extremely wrong listen to his vocals

  • What a great song! One of my favourites. Elvis had a great voice in 1976 . Superb entertainer.

  • FANTASTIC SONG ELVIS!!!

  • Gänsehaut, einfach geil

    l.g.

    heidi

  • There's been a lot of things said about Elvis but he was the most generous individual. Yeah, he had faults but who doesn't? He could sing like nobody else. His voice could take you anywhere. And you can feel the emotion in his songs. Even his films have a certain charm. I've just got the last filmed concert from 1977 and the manners and respect he had are still there. How many artists can be recognised by saying "thank you, thank you very much?" The man was a genius.

  • @paulreno1 thank u..u said alot of thoughts for alot of people..elvis was the most kind and generous person ever..thank u for ur post..

  • I remember seeing him in person at MSG in the 70's, 6 rows from the stage. What a memorable day. I am a fanatic Elvis fan.

  • that is ok you mit not know it but you are real good cause they anit nothing you can do to mess it up love you elvis

  • What a beautiful soul this Man has ! Love listening to him speak ...just as much as I love listening to him sing. God Bless Elvis ...ALWAYS.

  • As Elvis's health declined... and his health problems were very serious--life-threatening and painful..even his eyes caused him severe pain...these causing him to use pain medication regularly..he just became very vulnerable. His own feelings, fears and weakness were there for the world to see. But he continued going up on stage. He was a brave and positive man, yep and he did love performing.. Surprisingly that was where he was most at home. Or singing gospel at a piano.

  • @TrueLight55 Thanks for posting this about Elvis. This confirms what I have often thought. Thanks for sharing...

  • elvis had the magic he could entertain even the most critical

  • question: Is this the TCB band?

  • @AbbbasGirl Yes it is. Except for the piano player Glen D. Hardin who left the band about a year earlier.

  • @The2Fool Thanks....love this version and hearing Elvis talking...

  • ive never seen him,,, but i been a fan of him since i was litlle 4 yaers now im 45 and i am still in love with the man who enchanteed me... luve Elvis

  • elvis will alway be the best

  • @Tslack54 Your so right, I had the pleasure of seeing him many times, best exp of my life.

  • Such a Legend!

  • The King of Music!

  • 99 SAID JUST A FEW DAYS AGO THAT JAGGER WAS THE BEST ON STAGE PREFOMER, WELL NO 99 THINKS ELIVIS GIVES MICK A RUNN,, 9999999

  • The2Fool - MB - It's like Elvis singing to John Travolta. We forget. Each, his own, are successful, accomplished actors. Remember Elvis, and others are sometimes, the Riddler's (Jim Carrey) questions, in Batman. (shrug)

  • @TubeYouListen sorry correction - "Each his own, is a successful, accomplished actor."

  • The2Fool - MB Yes. I have the entire SUIT ON. PIANO, ON face. Soft, beige leather engraved GUITAR, ON my back, and ehehehhe, BELT BUCKLE, ON, attached to my "erroganous zone," back of my head - so i'm like really feelin' it baby. And like Johny Cash, is all like ready to blow me away. It's not funny - because I've already been to the emergency room, 3 times, in 3 years. MB, yhetsh. Rod Stewart - If you want my body and you think I'm sexy, ouch, that hurts. I'm sorry. I won't touch you. o.k.

  • É tão maravilhoso ver como ele encantava a platéia!!! Todos simplesmente enloqueciam!!!

  • The greatest Entertainer this world had ever seen or will see he could sing any think

    and it would sound great

  • This was my very first concert at the age of 9! It was certainly the most memorable of all that I have attended. I was amazed at the reaction Elvis created from the audience (men and women). He is still the King, and in my eyes the greatest singer that ever lived or ever will. I loved him then and I love him now!

  • Thank you for posting this. It is very special to me. TCB x JD

  • I have been an Elvis fan forever.I have read all the positive and negatives written on here and elsewhere. No matter what it was a tragic loss to his family, friends and fans.

  • @Ditch1221 elvis was a cover artist in the end and a junky a fall from grace

  • @thefightingirish1919 and your a fuckin nobody nothing....your pathetic

  • @MrWaynejohn pathetic is yourself look am a fan and have a real signed autograph of him he was killed by his fans and there demand to see him ie pills to keep him going fat elvis rocked

  • @thefightingirish1919 if you love someone you DON,T talk aboout him like you did !!!

elvis was a drug addict who was hopelessy doomed...have a heart and understand ...dammm it

but me thinks my words are lost on a cold hearted fucker like you...so trash elvis and feel good attacking someone who was ill....YOUR A BIG MAN

  • @MrWaynejohn love jesus man your taking that a bit far arent you id say your one of those elvis freaks who think they have a connection to him get of the stage

  • @MrWaynejohn Grow up will you? jeese?! I Met Elvis! You think you are fans?? Yeah right!! Grow up!! KIDS!!!!

  • @NelsonHarry piss off phony..exposed

  • @thefightingirish1919 "The "fighting Irish?" GROW UP KID!!! Poke it up you're arse! Tit.

  • @thefightingirish1919 Thats not true, is manager has it 3 orignal songs and 7 covers on the album in the last few years. This song, an original song was a #1 hit a few months before he died.

  • I know you are the best Elvis, but you are bit too high

  • Top of the line, but a bit too high on pills. I know yiu gave it your all Elvis, but you knew more about pills than Drs.

  • @JimboGee1234

    IMHO.

  • @JimboGee1234

    I agree, JimboGee, but...

By this point, Elvis had problems big time, and the people that HE WAS PAYING didn't do a d*mn thing but ride on his coattails until the (obviously soon coming) end. Humble? Yes. But but they were telling him that he was indestructable.

What Elvis did was make the rock star disposable, and people today hate modern music because by and large it sucks.

  • Elvis was my hero. Still, I have my breaking point, and this version of this song is pretty close to when even I let loose of him.

  • @blardosplats sad isn't it

  • @charlotte946 Yes, very.

  • @blardosplats

No offense but I think you got that backwards...

This song was pretty close to when he let go of "the world": He died soon after this recording. 6 months after it topped the charts, he was gone!

  • wow, the energy from elvis and the audience is astonishing it makes you feel that maybe life is worth it...

  • I LOVE ELVIS!!!

  • Nada de mais! Hoje as letras aparecem em telão.

  • He's got the words but can't read very well, so excuse him. Dumb Fuck. BTW I love Elvis.

  • I wish he would have performed more songs from EP Blvd and MOODY BLUE in concert.

  • type elvis presley way down lip synch on you tube and comment

  • Elvis forever

  • HERMOSO,,,DIOS LES BENDIGA, TONY

  • Thankyou The2Fool, and thankyou King of Music.

  • I like this song the most..out of his 700 something songs...woooooh...amazing.

Like sum1 said be 4..no one can really hate Elvis Presley...no one!! :)

  • @FebruaryOfmine except anti elvis!!!

  • @troubledribble this is total bull shit E.P. always sang and never lyp singed or needed anyone to be backstage especially that fool jimmy ellis[orion] you and your story are stupid.

  • forever the king love elvis en is music

  • WHAT??? Get the hell off of You Tube.

  • @Troubledtribble I'm not getting off, why? All I'm doing is spreading rare facts about the King that were experienced by an insider (me). You should appreciate my stories, they are gold.

  • What kind of a fucking dumb ass are you? What a fucking dumb ass!! LOLOL. What kind of a dumb ass are you? Dumbass!

  • Great never saw those photos!

  • my version is with lyrics :)

  • his humour was good as his music, miss u king

  • It's sad that he was slurring here and wasn't as professional as he should have been. Otherwise, he was pretty good up until this point in his life.

  • He was dying. His body was wearing out, and he just kept going. It's sad that he, like Michael Jackson, ended up the way they did after giving the world so much with their music.

  • Until age 16 I did not even know who Elvis was. I was born eight years after he died. I absolutly love his music and his voice whether he is talking or singing. He has that sweet accent and the good looks. No wonder he had so many frakin women all over him ♠

  • I love Elvis and this is one of my favorite songs by him my name used to be Moody before I married and I use to pretend he was singin this song to me. I think he is dynamite, a wounderful , magnificent man and I loved him then and I love him still. He is awesome and I will forever and always love, respect and admire him. There will NEVER, Ever, be another like him not even close on the best day of their life. He gave everything he had and it was all or nothing he never did anything half way>

  • This sounds like a country song, not Elvis's style at all.

  • After his movie career ended, Elvis almost soley recorded covers of country songs with a rare rock nugget, for example "Burning Love" or "Promised Land" thrown in.

  • Huh? Elvis did a ton of country music. Post-1968, he did more country than anything else.

  • Sad, sad end for a man who had it all. Six months after this, he was dead. Forty-two years old. Damn shame. Moody Blue.

  • It was six weeks later - damn shame - up to 19 stone and so messed up with these flaming pills.

  • Elvis el mejor, en America, Europa y en otras galaxias..

  • great video! i live close to charlotte, and i'm a big elvis fan. thanks for posting!!

  • I love Moody Blue live!!! Kochamy Elvisa w Polsce!!!

Elvis is always the best! Greeting for all El fans in the world from Gorzów,Poland!

  • I am a "massive fan"........some would say a FAN-"ADDIC". Elvis could sing any song even cover a song and do it better than the original performer. I will love him forever...............

  • I'm not a massive fan but what a voice. He was a loving, caring, generous man who seemed to be quite grounded. I don't think we'll ever see his like again. Hats off to Elvis!

  • Elvis é simplesmente o melhor.

  • Poor man the pills messed him up

  • He was a huge star, perhaps THE biggest pop star but he seemed to be a man of humour and great humility, just a genuine fella.I never met him but it's the impression i'm left with ...am i wrong?

  • @optimumvalue9 No you are not wrong, If you can get hold of the dvd A Generous Heart take a look at it, it describes just how genuine, kind, honest, humble Evis was, he did not care about material things, it gave him more pleasure giving things to people to see the happiness on their face. WELL WORTH A LOOK.

  • The King of Music!!!

  • Only king? THE MASTER!

  • Without this moron, there would never be a John Lennon or anybody else.

To quote John Lennon "Without Elvis there were never the Beatles"

HAIL TO THE ONLY TRUE KING OF ALL KINDS OF MUSIC

  • I still this this wonderful, talented man. His mother died young from liver disease and I think he did too. He gave his all for his fans. I love him.

  • what i would have gave to have seen him live in concert i will some day i know hes in heaven and singen there ty u to elvis god bless u and ty for posting

  • yet prats like you can comment on people or persons you know very little about, pity chapman did,nt stumble across you:

  • That moron, Chapman, can thank his maker that he didn't stumble across me, I don't be playin"'

  • He may of had problems in his life. but he was not a moran, look at your self first . dickhead.

  • Anyone kills for no reason is a moron.

  • Before Elvis came on stage you could feel the show room starting to change. Everyone new that they were about to be entertained by the biggest singing star in the world. When he walked onto the stage you were transfixed. No other singer will ever match him.

  • Yes. I seen him in vegas many times

  • You did, WOW!

  • elvis conqering lion of the three tribes of judah. singing his own redemption

  • I am a big Elvis Fan....his health was very bad when he sang this. I think you can tell in his voice

  • @MrKASSIOPI did you ever see Elvis live?

  • Appreciate him for he was great and good.

  • While Elvis didn't write many of the songs he recorded, he made a lot of people rich singing the songs they did write.

  • @greg8698 he co-wrote Love Me Tender.

  • algo q me atrae de escuchar a Elvis es su sonido en concierto, es igual q en un studio

  • It's hard to believe 6 months later he was gone. I still miss him

  • @yang2900 Yeah, miss him to!

  • Comment removed

  • @yang2900 He is not gone. Only retired. All evidence points to a hoaxed death. Only the King could pull that off. The audience in this picture is only about twelve feet away and still use binoculars! Laughs!

  • @MJG956 That is so ridiculous. I wish he was still alive but he died in 1977 folks wake up

  • Love it! Great video! :)

  • Elvis and MJ were both great artists... and both had great people like Sam Phillips (with Elvis) and Barry Gordy and Later Quincy Jones (who produced the brilliant Off the Wall and Thriller albums with MJ) to harness that talent.

So thank you Sam Phillips and Barry Gordy for discovering 2 talented artists.

  • Elvis Presleys daughter Lisa Marine Presley was MJ's X wife. But she devorced him.

  • LMP and MJ did remain good friends and she did attend the private funeral.

And I'm sure Elvis would have helped MJ try to kick his drug habit, people who say otherwise forget that this is a guy who paid Jackie Wilson's med bill and he did meet MJ when MJ was still with the Jacksons in Vegas.

  • actually this was one of the kings last live performances and yes he was off his face but my god he still nails it....when it gets going ha ha

  • Elvis is and will always be the best!

  • He was fat from 1935-1973? Really? Well i've seen thousands of pictures of him during those years that say you're full of shit. He did die in the BATHROOM, which was built like a dressing room. He did PRESCRIPTION drugs, unlike Mick Jagger who does illegal drugs. Also, prove to me who he molested. Where has he been charged with molesting a minor and who was the victim?

  • silly dave, proof and facts are not convenient for taunting a person. go home with such an attitude!

  • huh?

  • just random sarcasm

  • ok lol

  • My God are you 5 years old.

  • ill take elvis as he wasnt a peado

  • Elvis presley was way fucking better the MJ Get over it.

He wasent just a great singer, and a great actor.

So just shut it and get over it. <3

  • These are great shots!

  • As much as ppl want to side on MJ or Elvis could Elvis sing Beat it and dance his ass off like MJ and also could Elvis sing the deap barotones of 'blue moon'. NO?! Becuase they are different. GET OVER IT.

  • Actually Elvis could sing DEEP BARITONES (capitalized for correct spelling emphasis).

  • He had a huge tone range - watch Unchained Melody (1977) to hear the other extreme.

  • Oh i know it. My response was to a person who said he couldn't sing deep baritones. Elvis's range was huge.:)

  • Listen to Can't Help Falling In Love, his Baritone is smooth.

  • I once heard that Elvis one of a very few professional singers who could song comfortably in a five octive range...I don't recall the source.

  • His Lifestyle is fantastic

  • Long live the King, the greatest Idol !!!

    Greater than Michael Jackson !!!!

    Thanks!!!!!

  • The problem wasn't so much that he didn't know the words...he had them, but the original recording was not as high pitched as what is played here. He was right to make the distinction, and its great he can make fun by saying, "I keep hanging on, 'trying to learn this song' but i never do."

  • elvis sounds wasted

  • ah, he aint wasted, it's the southern accent :)

  • Você é o Cara.

    Deus te Abençôe.

  • Just read the stupid comments by OneWest72nd. Cover singer? Do great singers have to write songs? Does he think (I'm assuming OneWest is male, his arrogant tone certainly sounds it) that Billie Holiday, Frank Sinatra, Howlin' Wolf, or Placido Domingo aren't great singers? I don't think they're known for their songwriting. OneWest calls Elvis a hick, but sounds deeply provincial himself. So who's the hick?

  • the man had god given talent. ill fight for him.

  • not at his best, but still the king

  • Elvis est le grand...vive le roi

  • elvis presley a saudade de voce ainda machuca muito.beijo no seu coracao onde voce estiver

  • not bad for someone who did'nt know the words LOL

    LONG LIVE THE KING!!!

  • No one could do what he did and still be loved by the entire world, always Elvis never be another one like him....

  • man ii fruurkiihnn lloveeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee elviss mayn he iis DEADLY xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

  • ELVIS é pra sempre nosso maior ídolo. Eterno REI !!!!!!!!!

  • ELVIS feliz e descontraido, é assim que gostamos de lembra-lo. ELVIS eterno REI!!!!!!!!!!

  • I love elvis...but yes..he is not in his right mind here...if you have ever been involved with addiction...you will understand....

he performed...knowing... that he was not at his best...but thought he could do his job....we see the result...still...he was unmistakeably one of the best performers in our era....I feel his pain... he wanted to do more...but just couldnt....he was taken to soon....God give you rest ep...

  • sad

  • A country and western no 1 hit by the best and most versatile singer ever. "I sing all kinds", and so he did.

  • elvis............ we loves you....

  • i dont know why but this is my favorite version of moody blue!!! Long live the King!!!!

  • mine too cause he is being himself.
