I see the footage. That's not so much a failure on the part of the demo team, that's a tribute to the way things used to be built- with real welders, heavy steel and solid cores. Most of that building came down as planned; the core, which is often designed to absorb airplane impacts, storms and whatever- so people can actually get out of it- was built properly. I would also bet real money the demo team was hard pressed by the city to try to do it with as little explosives as possible.
