The Windows Vista's startup sound was also heard in Windows 7, but you can't see the glowing Windows orb when I start Windows 7, it will heard that startup sound when you see your desktop instead.

I swear there is some kind of subliminal message in there, the silent hissing / humming sound. Cant you hear its there, just hiding but you can hear it if you play the thing slowly and really loud - there is some kind of talking.

That's not Windows Vista's boot screen, Vista's boot screen is just a green loading bar. This is after Vista boots up, but before it loads to the desktop. And no, Ultimate is fine.

I like this startup sound too.Dunno why Microsoft love it so much that u cant edit the sound for this startup.

Anyway the Shutdown sound is HORRIBLE and just a eeeny 1 sec sound,so i switch the shutdown sound to the old XP one which is better.

Well, that is true. Beryl is awesome. The Aero interface on Vista just seems like a waste to me. It only introduces a few useful features, unlike Beryl, which makes it look better, and gives you a lot of cool features.
