@cyoungso I have no idea, it's not our splitter we have the ottawa drag saw and the Economy that are in my videos. The rest of the videos are from engines that I've seen at the local shows we go to.
Not illegal but they have the fence there to keep people from doing something stupid like touching the hot muffler or sticking their hand where it shouldn't be.
I really didn't realize how many people would look at my little video so I didn't take the time or show everything I should have. I wasn't there this year, maybe next summer I'll get more of the area.
@nikon505400 I like to see the simplistic, effective designs of the past. Today, because of people needing the govt to be their daddy and love and protect them, little is simple, cheap, efficient and effective any more.
Was this built as a log splitter or is it a modified hammer?

This is cool, id love to have one of these at the museum, we got a pretty big wood fired steam engine, the boiler ist designed for coal.
Splitting wood can be retarded if its something like 30°C (now dont ask me what that is in fahrenheit) , would make a good exhibit too.
