I can bring over 100 verses. All of them are misquoted by Islam-haters, taken out of context and taken out of their historical context.
For instance, Surah Muhammad 47:3 says "WHEN YOU ENCOUNTER THE UNBELIEVERS IN BATTLE". This only refers to battle. It doesn't say to bind them tightly, it says to free the prisonerers out of grace or by ransom.

@ryukenb2k A little History of the Taliban, before the Taliban was formed they were know as the mujahadein, and were fighting against the soviet union occupation of Afghanistan. The U.S. unwisely supllied weapons to the Mujahadein, who used them to eventually drive out the Russian forces. They then declined to return the U.S. weapons to America and fought amongst themselves in which the Taliban was supreme. If the U.S. had known better they would've helped the Russians.
Therefore we CANNOT commit suicide. That is totally forbidden as I have proven. In 100s of Hadith the Holy Prophet Mohammad (SAWW) prohibited suicide.

It doesn't say the opposite of Surah an-Nisa 4:29 at all.
Surah at-Tawba 9:38 refers to battle. Fighting in battle in Islam only refers to defensice war. This particular war refers to a battle against the Byzantine Empire, under Emperor Heracleus, who occupied a large part of Arabia and murdered a Muslim peace emissary, who simply offered him to accept Islam. That is defensive.

Bilal al-Habeshi was freed by Abu Bakr, at the request of the Holy Prophet Mohammad (SAWW). He freed the slaves, the poor, the weak and the orphans. The people he conquered were made captives of war, who were given the same food as the captors, the same clothes and treated with justice as commanded in the Holy Qur'an (Surah al-Insan 76:8). But they were eventually freed and there were no longer any slaves in Arabia for decades, until corrupt people took control of the Islamic Nation.

Captives of war isn;t restricted to females. Every survivor of war is a captive. In the western systems, captives of war aren't treated equally. They are tortured and murdered.
In Islam, they are to be treated with true justice, i.e. they are to be given the same clothes the master wears and eat the same food he eats. Slavery is only a word. The styles of slavery in Islam and the west are different. The west uses cheap labout and exploitation, whereas Islam treats slave equally with the master.

In Pakistan however, where I am from, several people have servants, including my cousins. The sleep in the same rooms as them, with beds that are as good as theirs. Slavery occurred everywhere at that time. The only difference is that Islam treated slaves equally and stated that it was a charitable act to free slaves.
Getting rid of slavery just like that was totally unrealistic. It had to be done slowly and Islam did it by ordering the masters to treat the slaves with justice, by giving them the same food they eat and the same clothes they wear and encouraging them to free them.
In the west, there is the low-class, who live much worse off than slaves.

And slavery ended in the United States during a civil war with the emancipation proclamation. A matter of fact the British single handedly destroyed the Atlantic slave trade. In the West the poor are allowed the same rights as everyone else. Till this day slavery is practiced in the islamic states.

The Holy Prophet Mohammad (SAWW) didn't have any sex-slaves. He had the female captives of war, Saffiyah and Juwairiyah, both of whom he freed and married, but no sex slaves. There was Mariyah al-Qabtiyya, given to him by the Christian Egyptian Patriarch Maqawqis. She was his maiden, whom he had a child with.
There is nothing wrong with that. She agreed and converted to Islam. Would you prefer her to remain sexually inactive and get absolutely nothing? You don't know anything so don't talk.

I can bring over 100 verses. All of them are misquoted by Islam-haters, taken out of context and taken out of their historical context.
For instance, Surah Muhammad 47:3 says "WHEN YOU ENCOUNTER THE UNBELIEVERS IN BATTLE". This only refers to battle. It doesn't say to bind them tightly, it says to free the prisonerers out of grace or by ransom.

If I say "We must kill the enemy in battle" and you only quote "We must kill", you've totally misrepresented me. That's what you've done with the Holy Qur'an verses.
The first one you quoted talks of battle. The second one refers to the Battle of Badr, that's the historical context. That was a battle in which the pagan attempted to attack the Muslims, thus it was defensive

I don't like Taliban or Al-Qa'ida.
In fact, I hate them. But, if someone's family is killed by the USA, the Taliban suits him as an organisation to get revenge. The attacks of the USA just cause so much death, destruction and more people to join the Taliban, so why not just leave?
They can't win no matter what. Russia and Great Britain tried and lost. You think America can win? Afghans are known to fight till the last man.

For proof of 50 000 civilian casualties type in "List of civilian casulaties of the War in Afghanistan (2001-present)" on wikipedia.
There were 2 million people killed in the Afghan civil war, but not just by Taliban. Most of those killed were soldiers.
There were many opposing parties that wanted domination and Taliban won many people after they saved 2 rape victims, who were raped by corrupt warlords. They executed the warlords and the fight continued.

in 1996, taliban were created by pakistan, they invaded east of afghanistan, the president of afghanistan Dr. najib decided not to kill the taliban, and instead he asked them to stop killing the civilians.. with the wepons they had received from pakistan they invaded kabul, executed the president.. and thats how war started.

@ryukenb2k A little History of the Taliban, before the Taliban was formed they were know as the mujahadein, and were fighting against the soviet union occupation of Afghanistan. The U.S. unwisely supllied weapons to the Mujahadein, who used them to eventually drive out the Russian forces. They then declined to return the U.S. weapons to America and fought amongst themselves in which the Taliban was supreme. If the U.S. had known better they would've helped the Russians.

How does Surah at-Tawba 9:38 support suicide bombing?
It just asks us to not cling on to this life and instead take heed of the after world. That's not suicide bombing.
People who take it that way know absolutely nothing about Islam because the Holy Qur'an states:
DO NOT KILL YOURSELVES (Surah an-Nisa 4:29).
Therefore we CANNOT commit suicide. That is totally forbidden as I have proven. In 100s of Hadith the Holy Prophet Mohammad (SAWW) prohibited suicide.

Do you prefer the life of this world to the hereafter? But little is the comfort of this life as compared to the hereafter." From the Yusufali translation. This verse says the very opposite of sura 4:29. I consider throwing your life away in battle to trade for the afterlife suicide.

It doesn't say the opposite of Surah an-Nisa 4:29 at all.
Surah at-Tawba 9:38 refers to battle. Fighting in battle in Islam only refers to defensice war. This particular war refers to a battle against the Byzantine Empire, under Emperor Heracleus, who occupied a large part of Arabia and murdered a Muslim peace emissary, who simply offered him to accept Islam. That is defensive.

@truebeliever786 Okay lets look at it this way suppose a christian emmisary went to an islamic country and told the local Caliphate to accept jesus christ as your lord and saviour and was killed for that. Would that give the christian country the excuse to wage a "defensive" war against that islamic state. In terms of war now, that is ridiculous. If a Christian does simply ask and he is an emissary then the Muslim has freedom to refuse, but has no right to kill the person. The Christian nation thus has the right to wage war.
The Holy Prophet Mohammad (SAWW) sent an emissary to Egypt also. The Egyptian leader Maqawqis didn't agree to convert but didn't kill the emissary either, so he was not an enemy and no Muslim violated his territory. However, the Byzantinian leader Heraclius asked for war, when he committed that crime.

Though the original point was that verse 9:38 was what enabled suicide bombers to do what they did. You said that verse 4:29 prohibited such an action. And that verse 9:38 was related to war. But the verse said in the "cause of Allah" which could be anything. Some cleric could say robbing a bank or putting out a fire is in the cause of Allah.

Tribes that were weak were never crushed at all. Read Tafsir ibn Abbas 60:8, in which the Prophet's own cousin states that the Holy Prophet Mohammad (SAWW) allowed security and freedom to non-Muslim tribes in Arabia, who promised never to fight him and stuck to their promise.
