you would still need a receiver but if your receiver is kinda old and it doesnt have a designated sub out then you would run the fronts through it and i would pick up on the base through front speakers

lmfao ur sub is only 11 kilos ahaha i have a 8 inch pro series sony powered sub that weighs 65 lbs and is more powerful then ur 10 inch and prolly alot louder and fyi those channels on the back of ur sub is not for external speakers its for older recivers that dont have the low level output option so u would use the speaker terminals on the back of ur reciver run it to ur sub and there u go

The truth is that this sub has Huge bass fot its size. He didn't really have it up at all. This sub can hit so hard you can feel it in the chest. Somewhat alright review for features , bad review for bass on  a good product.

Good unboxing. The Sony SA-W2500 isn't a really good sub. I have one myself. I also have a Boston Acoustics Micro90pv. The Boston is WAY better, but costs A LOT more. A Sub should not only vibrate (Sony does this well) but also reproduce the low frequencies (Micro90pv does a great job at this) But for $99, its a great deal. You get what you pay for. BTW, if they surround on the sub wasn't made so thick, it would rep
