I use to ride these streets on my bicycle when i was 12 year old kid, i went every where , played pinball machines ate falafel arax and basterma, watch movies at the Karmanik cinema, all day i use to spend there, i want to go back it has been 33 years.

i miss canadian burger i miss his fahitas and also i missed lehmejuns with tan koko, and all the actions in bh city anywhere you go any country you still miss our bourjhamoud bh city, and i also miss the deem taxis 6am in morning start to horns 'Taxi'

burj hammoud is like a very big armenian shanty town. ive never been there, but from what i see from its exterior, i'd say it needs a good face lift. but come to look inside, its an armenian little city, and what makes it special, is that the armenians have been a part of our society in Lebanon for so long but have been able to build a big, strong and free stable armenian society. full of life and energy, i'd love to visit

@reyiz96 no not everything, today not most things.. i'd say the most towns are Burj Hammoud (however its present state is what makes it unique), and Tripoli definetely.. along with certain parts of Beirut's suburbs. these are the most, but not everything

I miss so much the smell of the Falafel, shawerma, the fresh pistachios, the kebobs, the kaake, Brazee..the cheeze...the life, people full of life...oh my Lord, I dont want to live anymore... I am so depressed in this US of A...where all food are tainted, and have no taste,...sorry, taste like rubber... people...so artificial...and so on and so on
