@al13achilles I don't recommend a PSPgo! for an older PSP owner. The PSPgo! is an all-digital platform, so you can't use your old Universal Media Discs (UMD).

Think about it, you will need to buy all your games again, at a higher price to even play them on the go!!!!! Where's the value?

If you guys think PSP 1000 is with lighter screen that mean's you are noob's for PSP everybody can do this trick he just pressed the button that can make you'r screen lighter or darkest the button is down on the PSP in right it has a square on it.

A 2 gig is more than enough.

If you don't plan on downloading and/or pirating any games, a 2 gig will last you basically a lifetime.

If you do pirate though, every game can be from 200mb~1.5gigs i think is the maximum, even dissidia/crisis core werent anymore than that, and those are basically the biggest games so far I believe.

But yeah, if you buy the games then a 2gig will last you a lifetime, in fact, even a 1 gig will last you a lifetime.

(Unless you dl music/movies)

Well, it depends, if you buy the UMD (basically a psp dvd) for the movie, then it wont take up space, but if you download the movie it will.

Basically, if you dont do anything "illegal" with the memory stick, it doesnt take up anymore than music (which in turn is probably illegally obtained unless bought from itunes or something) and game saves.

So if you don't download any movies or games or music, all it takes up is gamesaves.

If you just buy movies, they wont take any space.

Sure, you can look at it that way, or --

if you're planning on doing something illegal, you can go ahead and spend the $30~$40 on a bigass memory stick, because everything else is already free. If you arent though, a 1gig is a lot more than enough.

In other words, its totally worth it.

You know that there's something on the PSP and PS3 called the Playstation Store. There, you can purchase and download legally acquired games to use on your memory stick. If you ask others, you might notice that some of the guys with large memory sticks are stuffing it with videos and music.

It's not that you get a fancy disc or real life item, you're getting EXACTLY what you would get if you pirated, only you're paying for it.

That's exactly the kind of attitude that makes CFW and homebrew look bad. Yes, millions of PSPs have CFW and at least a quarter of them are pirating every game they have. But it doesn't stop there, cheaters are everywhere in the games they pirated which also defaces the appeal of online PSP games. Companies are being scared away from making games on the PSP even if you say they aren't and it does affect everyone as a whole.
