I sincerely am not sure about genetics and homosexuality! I believe more in the scars of childhood! My sister is a lesbian and she sure missed my mother's affection. We all did but my sister deal with this issue with getting closer with the feminine affection she never got! Watch the movie "Gia"... you will notice the same experience for Gia who was in such pain because of the lack of her mother's affection. Sorry to say that but it is almost an obsession as to get the "primal" affection!
I saw some posts regarding God and lesbianism. Just to set the record strait, God does not have a problem with "women laying with women". I would bet that the anti lesbian crowd has never read the Old Testament which contains the passages regarding such things, and probably has no understanding of Christ's teachings which admonish men from judging others. As an old dude in my sixties I will judge Lind Perry... as extremely talented.

Being gay is not a disease (which is how you actually spell it). It is a choice that is made by that person. God gave us free will for us to do with as we please, so how can you say that it is against god? If you will watch her interviews she has been through a lot and she is truly an inspiration to me.

Did you know if your mother had sons, before having you there is a higher chance you will be homosexual? It has to do with genetics not a choice. Homosexual men have a MUCH higher suicide rate because of people like you. Lets say your right, God is real and he hates Gays. You would burn in hell. The bible says to treat all people equal.

I have always thought that being a homosexual was a negative just like being blind or being deaf or being fat (guilty of that one myself)
THAT DOESN'T MEAN THAT SOMEONE DESERVES TO BE PUT DOWN FOR IT. (heck, my fat butt deserves more damnation because I can do something about it)
That being said, if her voice is somehow truly the product of her genetic makeup and homosexuality then GOOD. Her voice is amazing.
