Excuse me, this may sound weird but would you mind if I used some of the videos you have here/pictures.
I cant find any videos of the Hell Angles squad (untill now)
One of my great grandfathers was on board of this plane, and i want to show my aunt to to see if she can find her father. It would mean a lot to if I could, but you dont want me too I can understand. Thank you for your time.
@PKBChaz Not weird at all... However, you don't have to use my images. Here is the official website of the "Real Hells Angels." 303rdbg.com They've got mission logs and reports and details about who flew what and where. There's all sorts of stories and information and images about the men who flew these B-17's. There's a great museum about the 8th Eighth Air Force in Savannah, GA where they will share everything they can about your great grandfather.
In early 1942, Jimmy Stewart was asked to appear in a propaganda film to help recruit the anticipated 100,000 airmen that the USAAF would need to win the war. This was no acting job, he was a real pilot in the Eighth Air Force! In July 1944, after flying 20 combat missions, Stewart was no longer required or expected to fly missions, yet he continued to do so. Before the war ended, he was promoted to colonel, one of the few Americans to rise from private to colonel in four years.
to soldiers everywhere in the world gone and living, you sacrificed your lives so there will be peace, you gave your lives so others may live god bless you,you are always remembered.
