the pulse travels between the two dart electrodes, unless they are making contact with a part of the guy in between the two darts, they won't get shocked.

The taser deploys two probes that penetrate the skin. One a hot lead the other a negative lead. It completes the circuit so it doesn't shock anybody trying to handle him. I know from personal experience don't stick your fingers between the leads while that thing is going off lol

Lol at a Police Explorer fundraiser I got to watch the tazer test and 3 buff cops linked arms and when the middle guy was tazed all 3 went down,it was pretty legit XD.

And when you're tazed,you often times don't scream,the electric shocks lock up all your joints and you tend to lock your jaw and as a result your scream comes out as a growl.

You're wrong. There are certain drugs, namely PCP, where the taser is often times completely useless. I have a video on my favorites where this guy was hit with TWO tasers simultaneously by two different officers. That guy happened to be on PCP, and guess what, he simply ripped the prongs out of himself like nothing.

No effect whatsoever.

As far as equipping firefighters with tasers, I'm against it. First of all, when they're dealing with people the police will usually be there as well.

In theory, you could remove the probes yourself after the electricity flow has stopped, however, in a bad guy situation an officer would likely pull the trigger again if the subject was trying to remove the probes thereby rendering him unable to do anything. I bet he wouldn't touch the probes again after his second "ride."

If the guy on the right had a probe and the guy on the left had the other and they all linked arms the guy in the center would feel it too...a completed circut but since both probes went into the guy in the middle he alone completed the circut...thats why the two guys were able to steady him to the floor without being hurt...also if either of the guys touched the wires they too would become part of the circut and then would feel the shock...but as you can see neither was the case here

I believe the cause of death is from the officer putting all of his weight on the guy's throat. It does not take much to crush someone's trachea or cut off their air supply especially after they have been fighting. I don't believe the Taser caused his death since they never before have been directly linked to someone's death. Taser has won 62-0 cases in court. Medical staff and science backs up the safety of Tasers.
