  • This is so helpful! I get so frustrated covering my dark circles! They are bad and often my makeup needs to do 16 hours for me so there are no if and or butts when it comes to looking rested and healthy.

  • is touche eclat a good concealer for undereyes, i know its a highlighter aswell so im not sure...please help!?

  • Green Concealer!?

  • omg! thank you soo much for this vid!! I was doin everything wrong and always wondered wth? LOL and now I know what to do with my Sonia Kashuk brush!! I have that same one and it was too big for my eyes and too little for my face lol thanks again!

  • you got very cute fingers!

  • you are gorgeous! and comfortable on camera it seems :)

  • You are so full of energy! :)

  • Thank you for this video! It has been a tremendous help to me! :)

  • You know what I do when I put make up on? I put on some foundation... Then I put my brown contacts in, after that I work on my black eyeshadow, then my eyeliner. I feel that my dark circles don't matter too people.

  • Your eyes are absolutely GORGEOUS.

  • so you don't put foundation over the concealer?

  • Cora, your my hero! Thnx for the Fashion show and Tell segment! I know so many other plus size girl's who wouldn't even admit Spanx exist let alone talk about being plus size, not BBW. Thumbs up for Cora and the fact that BBW IS NOT A SIZE!!!(^o^)^

  • I have a question. I have a skin disorder called vitiligo. Its when you don't have a lot of pigment in your skin, and mine is mainly on my eyes like on the lid, underneath, and sides. So my eyes lids are almost all white and when i put eye shadow on its never the same color that it really is and it never wants to stay on for long. Like it stays on for like 20 minutes then its like all funky and junk. And its the same with eyeliner. Do you have any advice or suggestions to what i can do?

  • I enjoy watching all your videos.....I will try this technique. I have bad dark circles that are getting worse with age.....

  • i wear alooot of eyeliner is that gonna ruin my eyes?

  • The ring finger is actually the strongest finger.. it just has the least control so you're more likely to tug on skin...

I used to use my ring finger but I read this and my medical student friends told me it's true.. your ring and little fingers are the strongest.x

  • mmkay, so what if you reverse it in order, and use foundation before concealer?

  • @cho327 actually its AMAZING! its very opaque and creamy and blends amazingly! even if you buy it youdont need much to really conceal dark circles its rather small BUT you need like half a pea size to coverup dark circles its definately worth the money :D hope this helps!

  • The tutorial is great! But when it comes to the under eye cream application, you should NEVER!! apply the cream directly to the under eye flesh! It is the most fragile part of the eye, you should always apply the eye cream directly to the bone right under that delicate skin !! Your eye's natural temperature will allow your eye cream to hydrate and deliver it's benefits .

  • My goodness. I just found your videos and I officially love you already.

"This is thin skin and we don't want to rough it up by being RAHRRAHRRAHRRAHR"

  • omg your eyes are beautiful!

  • Thanks...That helped me!

  • I absolutely love her makeup but I cant watch all the videos because the talking is SOOOOOOOOOOOOO Much it gets annoying!

  • can u show us your makeup collection? you got me so into buying all these products and i'd love to see how u store them

  • I'm a new subbie. I just LOOOOOVE you!!!

  • ah im 16 and i have fine wrinkles and dark bags under my eyes, any suggestions? :/

  • What can you use if you have bad creases under your eyes?

  • Thanx for sharing. I just subscribed :) Ur great. Love the hair. It rocks!

  • Do you work at MAC?

  • your eyes are so pretty! (:

  • Maquicomplet from Lancome is an amazing, waterproof undereye concealer.. but I also use it wherever else I need it. However, it is very full coverage.

  • oh you are so beautiful (: Yours eyes are amazing + your hair is absolutely madd

  • your eyelashes are GORGEOUS!! what mascara do you use?

  • Wow, your eyes are gorgeous doll!

  • lol when u were like RAR RAR RAR that was funny.

  • This is the first under eye tutorial that I have actually learned something. I thank you for sharing. c:

  • your eyes are so blue! i loves them <3

  • Yay im so glad you put this up!!

  • You are beautiful.

  • you are so adorable :)

  • Beautiful colour of hair:-)

  • omg look at ur skin, flawless

  • Kudos on tagging in that eye creams aren't necessarily different than facial moisturizers. As a beauty retail vet, I was brainwashed into thinking eye cream was an absolute must. After studying ingredients & consulting a dermatologist, I learned that there are actually no significant difference between the two.

Like you said, eye creams may benefit from targeted ingredients to help things like puffiness & fine lines, but for basic moisture, you don't really need different eye & face creams!

  • Thank you so much. I've had a hard time with my really dark circles around my eyes. Duh, yeah i need more sleep, but I wanted to learn how to cover it up too. thanks so much. Love your vids keep up the good work!!

  • I really like your voice!

  • you=amaziiiiiiiiiing

  • You have the bluest eyes i've ever saw, so pretty! Great tips, thanks.

  • If you could clip the sound effect bits from this video and make a whole new video, just using thooose.... That'd be FANtastic. Thanks! LoL LOVE the vid. I really noticed how much you've changed over the past couple.. what.. years? Such a transformation :) Love the toot, and the hair! Rock on chicklette!

  • can you do a video on mascara, and how to apply it? and what mascara is your favorite? thanks a lot and love your hair!!

  • ALSO, i haven't tried liquid concealer but i went to MAC and they could not find a suitable under eye concealer for me- everything just kept making it look darker, or didn't do much to cover the dark circles!

so they sent me to bobbi brown where i purchased a correcter and a concealer- it seems to work, but looks quite heavy, which is not a good daytime look!

would be nice to hear your view on this and if you think there's anything that might work which is less heavy, and less expensive :s ?

  • it was a pleasure to watch this- i love that you spent more time on tips rather than the brands/products like MANY other make up tutorials on youtube do. :D

  • do you wear contacts in your videos because everytime i watch them, your eyes look gorgeous!

  • @spankXmyXtoaster I wear clear ones. depending on my haircolor, mood and what I'm wearing they will be bluer, greener, grayer etc. Thanks!

  • @vintageortacky

That's like... so cool!! I wear also clear ones. I also have clear blue eyes... xD

Love your eyes, love your hair, love you.... (You're pretty!!) :D

good luck with everything you do!

    kisses from Holland (L)

  • @vintageortacky my eyes do that too! hahah(:

  • Ello Ello...Where can you buy the cover fx concealer?

  • A wonderful vid as always:0) xxxJoolsxxx

  • Great advice ~

  • beautiful eyes o.O

  • @cho327 I've never tired it :)

  • would bare minerals mineral veil work for setting?

  • @ohyaknow I personally use it for setting my concealer and is GREAT! It doesn't rest on the fine lines!

  • that was mighty helpful. thanks:)

  • i just found your channel i love your videos xoxo jen

  • good tutorial. i use mac select cover up it doesnt crease if you know how to use it by applying layer by layer to achieve a perfect flawless look . it has a matte satin finish if that makes sense. and i total sugg. using it on your eyelids as well and pressing a powder puff using mac studio finish powder to set, by applying to your eyelids it leaves a perfect base to eyeshadow because the eyeshadow will appear brighter like a paint pot but way better..

  • ThankQ Cora!! ♥

  • omg i cannot believe u did NOT mention bobby brown concealer in this vid!!! i wonder if its REALLY that great like ppl say it is...

  • pls pls PLEASEEE do a review of neutrogena healthy skin foundation....its a dupe of nars sheer glow...n so far i seriously luv it a lot more than mac's fluid fix!!!

  • once again, i loooove this hair on you!

  • As a refresher, I found this to be extremely helpful! Your blog is an excellent detailed information tool. Thanks so much! (✿◠‿º) Kokofemme

  • Very helpful tips! Gorgeous blue eyes!

  • you REALLY remind me of my 6th grade teacher (compliment...cuz she was gorgeous with the SAME eyes as you!) but with pink hair!! aahah! thanks for this vid..i really needed it..im only 15 and i have slight under-eye circles..they're hereditary for me, unfortunately!! :(

  • Your eyes are the PRETTIEST color blue I've eve seen in my whole life!

  • Very helpful, thanks for sharing =)

  • what mascara are you wearing!

  • @stephaniixox my computer froze so idk if you mentioned it or not, sorry!

  • @stephaniixox Stila Convertible mascara :)

  • I use a face moisturizer I got from Etsy. I have terrible under eye circles-I'm Italian so I look like someone popped me in the eye and it doesn't help that I'm very fair skinned lol I have yet to find a cream or a concealer that really cuts it. I'll check out your blog post :)

  • y cant u tell us wat product u used 4 your uder eye circles? wats the point of recomending products when ur using 1 rite in front of us and we cant identify wat it is 2 see if its something we would wanna use?.....

  • so its okay to use wrinkle makeup at any age even if you don't have any wrinkles? I heard it makes you get wrinkles faster.

  • thank you! its very helpfull!

  • so, i have to be honest: i kind of judged you at first, but after watching this you are VERY knowledgable about makeup and beauty.you also seem very personable. as someone plaugued by under eye circles, this helped alot! thanks so much!

  • you have such a fresh face look here....and thanks for the tips...

  • your the cutest :]

  • Helpfull video, thank you for sharing ^-^

  • HAHAHA A GRILLION TIMES. I love you.

  • Thanks Cora! I am going to go check out your blog now. BTW I just wanted to let you know that the MUFE HD Powder is just plain ol' Silica... That's it! I am sure you can pick up a bunch of that online for a fraction of the cost of MUFE's. :D

  • Im not a fan of the hair in this video, you're gorgeous nonetheless ;)

  • The industry needs more ppl like you:) Approachable, honest, and knowledgable.

  • that was really great thanks!! I like to use powderflage to set my concealer, it is very brightening

  • lol I love how you used that HORRIBLE picture that you see all over the place. The model looks like she's a football player!

Great vid, really helps. I am going to try that product and see how it works for me.

I do use the Makeup4ever palette but I have serious dark cirlcles and I do a more cover up foundation to even out, so it works for me but it does crease once in awhile.

  • When I wear concealer, it just look like I have wrinkles .__.

  • But do you actually LIKE Benefit's Powderflage?

  • @lizziehanleymusic I've never used it except on clients at work.

  • If I moisturize will my concealer not look cakey under my eye? I have very tiny bumps on my under eyes and so it often looks cakey.

  • @talim67 moisturizer will help with this :)

  • So, I'm a guy, and I have had the dark circles under my eyes, I've tried everything I know to get rid of them. And as far as I know I've had em all my life, and I'm starting to believe they're hereditary. LOVE you vids btw!! But mine are blue black and purple! WTH right?! Wondering if I should just use a cover but without it looking like make-up! Was wondering about like mineral makeup, but ALL of them have glitter or sparkle to em... I'm gay but not THAT gay! Something light! TY!!

  • @KidPunkStar101 the Lift concealer from Makeup Forever is nice, and pretty undetectable.

  • @KidPunkStar101 actually it is hereditary IF it's not a medical issue. Cover up is the best thing. I found a really really good foundation that I actually use as cover up as well. I have dark circles as well both from hereditary and some medical issue. If you want to know the name of it send me a inbox on you tube and I'll send you the name of it.

  • beautiful eyes! *-*

  • "all over mah face sometimes" hahaha i enjoyed that. oh and THANK YOUU god i failed at putting concealer on but now i dont HAH! cept i dont have any powder to finish it =[

  • You have such pretty blue eyes cora =D

    Thanks for the tips

  • I like the Benefit Powderflage for setting my concealer. It works great and doesn't settle into any fine lines.

  • Great vid! Love the notes throughout, too :)

  • I do everything you mentioned, but I have an issue with random spots including under my eye getting dry and flaky, so adding any cream or concealer only draws attention to it. I use face moisturizer and all that jazz, makes no difference, any tips?

  • Love this video as I have problems with dark under eye circles...also I must say ur eyes are incredible, I mean I've got blue eyes as well but urs are ..woooooooow...so beautiful colour. Can u do a video on summer look for blue eyes?thanks and keep up the good job

  • I used the MUFE palette and set it with Mac Prep & Prime and now I'm using benefit's Boiing. I agree with you they crease but they don't when I use Mac's Mac Prep & Prime. The thing is that I have very deep circles and liquids never cover up much.

  • Thanks, this is very important info :)

  • so informative!

i use a garnier fructis eye roller twice a day. have you tried this?

  • hi, my mom bought me a cream for my eyes, but it said: anti-wrinkle cream.. and I'm only twenty so I don't have any wrinkles. I don't know if this is dangerous or not. should I use it?

  • @nenalyzed youj're preventing wrinkles, so that's fine :)

  • @nenalyzed you can never start too young, the younger you start the better. I'm 22 and i use one.

  • Thank you..you are awesome! Keep up the good work.

  • You have such pretty eyes!!!!

  • Nice video. What's your take on Benefit's Powderflage? Is it worth the price?

  • @13inky I have the other powders that I use all over my face, so to me one powder for the eye area is kind of pricey. BUT it's a big seller for benefit, so the people who buy it love it :)

  • @13inky i wasnt really amazed with powderflage, i still use it every once in a while but to me its not quite worth it :P

  • BIG help thank you got a lil baby and do not get sleep so this is going to help a lot... Different question off subject I have noticed my pores are getting bigger what can I do to fix this or to cover it? bothers me alot... Mwah...

  • Awesome tips ! I always try out new products to cover my undereye circles.

  • do you wear contacts or do you naturally have amazing eyes? if they're naturally that blue you are so lucky! (:

  • Great video!

Are you going to continue your fashion series? If yes, when will we see the next part?

  • so informative! thank you for this video!!

  • i read your blogpost and ill assume that you're using the Make Up For Ever lift concealer in here, which is great because ive been eyeing it for months and hearing someone who i feel has good taste and good sense recommend it really puts my mind at ease and i think im gonna go ahead and grab a tube of it! For color reference, what shade do you use?

  • wow! hahah! it seems like you made this video especially for me and my dark circles!

  • When I set my under-eye concealer I tend to use my translucent powder. Is this a bad idea?

  • you have the bluest eyes ive ever seen!

  • i was wondering..i know you have the nobody's perfect concealer palette from hard candy..what is the pink color for?

  • "here's a good concealer, have fun with that." hahahaha. you always make me laugh!

  • why are ur eyes super blue!!! argh!! u got good genes!

  • Is that Korres eye cream only for evening use? the product itself sounds a bit contradicting. an evening eyecream, but it have spf in it? i'm looking for an eye cream for the day time, would this work u think?

    thanks! :)

  • @pmjc69 sorry, the name is a bit misleading. it's an anytime eye cream, but I prefer to use it at night. The name of the product is evening primrose :)

  • somone told me at sephora that i need a orange base concelar. then someone else reconmmend lorac concelar. i am so confused

  • This was so helpful! I have the worst dark circles ever!

  • Your my favorite ever!

  • Love your vids and how you didn't tell us your concealer it shows you really wanna help us

  • another very informative vid! thanks! and your skin looks flawless!

  • you have to try urban decay primer potion in eden for evening out the eyelid skintone! it works wonders for meeeee~~~

  • totally agree what u said !! great tips !! thank you very much :)

  • "A GRILLION times at work..." Grillion... that just makes me giggle! You're fabulous and are so professional!

  • this was really, really helpful! Thank you for doing a video on this!! :)

  • You always have the best makeup advice. Love, LOVE your videos!

  • Actually the regular UDPP works good for some darker tones (like mine) to even out the skin tone. I could use it by itself just to brighten during the day.

  • @Kimshi4242 you just have to test it. On some darker skins, it can give an ashy appearance :)

  • ur eyes r so beautiful... i'm so jealous! 10x 4 the tips, greetings from mexico!

  • Great Info!!! Thank you very much!!!

  • Can I just say THANK YOU SO MUCH! I have been looking and looking for an good, understandable video or article on how to BANISH dark circle, but you're the first to do it, so thank you for that :D Keep it up girl! We love ya!

  • have you tried the UDPP Eden? It is sooo cool! I love it so much

  • A really good budget eye cream is Garnier fructise skin renew eye cream. It is AWESOME! I'm a high end gal when it comes to the eyes (creams, shadows, liners...you get the hint..lol) but this stuff is great!! I've gone through 2 tubes and I'm on my third. It has micro brighteners .....but not shimmer!! I noticed a huge difference in little lines, and eye circles when using this! I just thought the girls on a budget would like to give this one a try...I can only find it at CVS for some reason.

  • Thanks Cora! This video has a lot of good information, and since I have dark circles it's always nice to see vids on what tips and tricks work for others. Thanks for the great info!!

  • Thank you for this video! I am Italian and have hereditary under eye circles, so this was very helpful to me. :)

  • @blakrose12nicole It might have been an accident, I don't recall deleting anything :)

  • @blakrose12nicole OK, I went back and looked, and your comment said removed by user, and someone said something back to you I didn't understand, so I deleted their comment.

  • @vintageortacky oh ok thanks

  • I'm so going to get the LM brightening powder =D great video, love!

  • do you do all this before or after your foundation?

  • @Nitroglycerinn after :)

  • I love the way you speak. It's so classy :)

  • Eden primer is awesome. It's the best I've used.

  • if I use the same foundation that I use in all my face, am I doing something wrong?

  • @fannienb nope! some people need a little extra help for the under eye area. If you don't need it, don't use it :)

  • why would someone put spf in a NIGHT cream? -scratches head- i just dont get it lol

  • @brokenImperfection it's not a Night cream, it's a in-general eye cream. It has evening primrose in it. I prefer to use it at night.
