And what it means physically, is that when the left speaker cone is moving forwards, the right speaker cone is moving backwards, and vice versa. These movements correspond to increased pressure - when the cone moves forward, and decreased pressure - when the cone moves backwards. It sounds (and feels) strange because one ear is experiencing an increase of pressure while the other is experiencing a decrease of pressure.
The left and right audio channels are out of phase by 180 degrees.
If you've ever wondered what people mean when they say that audio is 'out of phase', you are now hearing it. It sounds very strange and it puts what we call a 'hole in the middle', between the two speakers. If you are not hearing a problem with the audio, then your speakers may well be wired out of phase (i.e. black to red on one speaker). There is also a harmonic feedback issue, but most people probalbly don't even notice that.
@twochaudio also, fuck you. He's not a doomsayer, he saying "these are all the horrible things we're leading to if no one does anything about it, and here's what I'm doing about." What are you doing about it? The people who've lived through most of the 20th century have a hell of a lot more perspective of the direction of human intent and ability than a few fucking youtube pundits.
I can also hear the audio fine. I have powered speakers, and they're not up very loud... but it sounds like the left and right channels are out of phase...
This evidence is all anecdotal and compiled by people who aren't climatologists, i.e. YOuEnj0yMyself; whereas the evidence for global warming is provided by ice core samples taken from continental ice shelves and glaciers; further evidence is found in the fact that almost all of the latter are melting. The only hype here is your apostrophe pal.
Even if it is, we still need to develop better tech. Sooner or later we are gona leave this rock. Might as well as develop it asap, so we can be less dependent even on earth materials but, that won't happen still for awhile.
Fusion is the future. Sure, it's a bitch to get working, but so was the computer...
That said, there's nothing wrong with complementing the existing power grid with solar, wind and wave power. In fact, it's the only economically sane choice for the community (but not, of course, to oil and uranium merchants).
They require HUGE areas, are intermittent and are expensive. They require you to build huge redundant fossil fuel back-up sources for when the sun isn't shining and the wind isn't blowing.
Unfortunately easily mineable Uranium won't last long :(
Energy storage technologies such as flywheels make intermittent energy sources (solar/wind/tidal) more feasible. eg: Beacon Power makes a flywheel system integrated into a standard movable shipping container that can store/discharge 250 kilowatt hours of energy.
Why is it someone doing a poor "beatbox" is audible, yet someone with maybe valid,(i can't hear anything) video, is reduced to this level of quality? Hurry up and sort it out or put up a disclaimer. It will make great talks look amateur and de-value them.
LOL, you guys are hilarious, the you tubers that have commented on the audio on this video. LOL it is pretty bad. Its prob just the government fuzzing it up so people don't hear the good plans for the future. "WHEN THE POWER OF LOVE OVERCOMES THE LOVE OF POWER, THE WORLD WILL KNOW PEACE." -Jimmy Hendrix

Swap the cables on one speaker to fix the sound.

Amazing.
The audio is annoying though.
I would like it to be re-upped, just so that more people will be able to enjoy it, without having to endure the bleeps and the bloops.

BATTERIES!
Helios used a reversible hydrogen fuelcell (as a rechargable battery) to fly all day and night.
The QinetiQ Zephyr has flown for 82 hours straight by charging it's batteries during the day and discharging at night.

Wind and solar are terrible energy sources.
They require HUGE areas, are intermittent and are expensive. They require you to build huge redundant fossil fuel back-up sources for when the sun isn't shining and the wind isn't blowing.
Nuclear is superior.
