Personally I like the style and looks of the Camaro5. (though the trunk is ugly when open) Other than that.... My LS3 1SS is making close to 550at the rear wheels.. that's with K&N, Muffler Delete, Diablo Trinity, and NX Wet Plate System on 150-shot. I'll post a video reply in a week or two when I get a better dyno run in.. Last time I dyno'd with only 800psi bottle pressure.. now I have a bottle heater and will run at 1150psi

I can't understand why people post a dyno run and then not show the actual readout. We have to take their word for the results. I find it interesting that the 6.2 stock puts out these numbers stock . The 6.4 Hemi Challenger, just .2 of a liter bigger puts 420hp and 420ft/lbs/tq to the ground, also bone stock. Hennessey showed even better numbers than that. If you allow 18% for drive line loss that puts the engine ponies at close to 496, it's rated at 470. Me thinks someone is fudging a bit.

I don't understand why you morons are comparing a Vette to a Camaro. Have you not figured out they come from the same company? No car company puts out two sports cars in the same class. Camaro competes with Mustang and Charger, not Vettes. Most of you can't afford either, but I'd rather have a Camaro SS and save about 40k.

Yes, they are GM, but if all GM companies made cars for a single car class each company would only have 1-2 cars. Muscle car is a type of sports car. The difference is the vette is super sport. How many compact cars does Ford make, one. How many full size cars does Buick make, one.

@kief4diamonds - I don't know know what you mean by finding it useless. It's performs well in every aspect of it's category and provides much more bang for your buck than many cars. Comparing manual to automatic is a fool's comparison. Your GTO might beat a new SS Camaro, but I would hardly call it a rape. That I would reserve for a vette versus something like a Civic. Still, just because your car, or any other you offer for comparison, could beat a Camaro SS doesn't mean it's a bad car.

The GTO weighs only 135 lbs less than the Camaro 2SS, so why would you call it a boat if you drive that? Plus, the GTO has the most generic and bland styling of any car with that kind of power. It's basically a car for people who want to go fast in a straight line, brag about HP, and nothing else.
