Nas is dope as fuck but Cormega bodied him already, Cormega is what Nas inspires to be. Not to take shit away from Nas, he has a lot of good albums but Mega has never made a bad record. Nas used to be dope but I lost a lot of respect for him with some of the career decisions hes made recently... Back in 2004 when he put out Street's Disciple I just stopped giving a fuck about him. Hes still making better music then 95% of the rappers today so no hate, but Cormega is better.

Common factor is fuckin good production. Nas had Large Professor, Pete Rock, Q-Tip and Premo. Jay-Z only had Clark Kent and Premo, which is probably why it aint as good. Having said that, Nas is the better MC.
Many of the greatest hip-hop albums have Premo in there somewhere, producing a couple of tracks.

@ilikeSBs I listen to underground such as Lowkey, Immortal tech, jedi mind, RA rugged man so I like that hardcore sounds with a story, 50 makes a range of songs, some mostly for women which is why you regard Nas as better lyrically but if you a 50 fan you know what his real music is, so check it out if you can, it would change your opinion I believe...and eminem, dre all over-rated, havent heard from nas in a while, he needa change up his voice in my opinion, or good beat with lyrics to boot

@50eathaters i have listened to every work 50 has put out, even the tapes he put out before he got signed to interscope. i used to bump him heavy but once i heard The Massacre i wasnt feeling him anymore i have listened to the other albums he has put out, i couldnt vibe to them. Only recent thing i was able to enjoy was a freestyle he dropped during may i think, reminded me of that gangsta 50. Listen to Nasty or Nas' verse on Ghetto Dreams, theyre tight. plus he's dropping an album next year.

@ilikeSBs I understand you fully but nas remains the same is the only thing i hate, voice, flow and old school beats, becomes a bit tedious...compared to 50, makes songs 4 women, gangtsa's, and average people, soul music (entire album of it)...he making 10 hard core songs in 10 days, maybe you can rekindle you like of 50, chck it out and i wil check ya nas joint out

@50eathaters NAS THE SAME? Dude have you even been listening to his shit? If someone hits different topics in his albums it's Nas not 50cent. All he talks about is how cool he is, how he got shot and how much money and woman he has. Please go listen to nas and damien marley distant relatives if you really wanna feel a chance. But so are all his other albums.

@doncuomo Same, in terms of the flow, the way he spits it...Nas is better lyrical, no-one would argue it but cant dismiss 50 in terms of flow, and good lyrics just not on Nas's level...i have listened 2 nas, espically love black vombies...have u heard of lowkey

@50eathaters Yeah, i heard some of low key but i don't really like him. In some song he kinda dissed Nas and in the whole song he was not even on his level, so i kinda skipped on him after that. If you can give me his best song you might get me interested
