How to Restore Stock ROM, Remove Safestrap/Root on Rooted Droid Razr!

Please help :) I accidently soft-bricked my razr. I can turn it on and get to safestrap. Its disabled. I go to back up and restore and i click on the external hard drive... no files... i click on internal hard drive... no files... I take my SD card out and put it in my droid 1 just so i can hook it up to my computer and see the files on my SD and my back-up is on the SD so i dont understand why safestrap isnt locating any files... what to do now??? thanx :)

i have a problem. i unrooted and factory reset. i did EVERYTHING and everytime i reboot my phone the safestrap menu always pops up. does anybody know why?!

@zedomax yes I did. I followed your steps. I went into the market and found it and it said I had it installed so I uninstalled it. After a couple of reboots it's gone now. But, I wanted to boot into recovery an hour ago so I turned off my phone and pressed the volume up and down keys at the same time and a menu popped up letting me choose different recovery methods. Is this normal for a non rooted phone?

I tried the unroot method you described using es file explorer and super user is still there.

I have a question, can i wipe cache and dalvik cache just to see if my phone runs better? (without flashing a different rom) Also what will wiping cache and dalvik cache do? Will it erase any app data?

@htcevomaster323 no, it just erases cache, so yes, try it, it always helps.

OK, I rooted my RAZR using your method and the only things I've done are the tether hack and freeze some bloat using titanium backup. If I want to unroot all I have to do is erase the SU files like you did here and I will be good to go with a stock RAZR right? I will be able to get OTAs fine?

it wont update stock ota because of the custom recovery/ modifying system files

@xd9slinger yes when ics update comes out you can do pretty much exactly as shown in video.  OR better way is to install a rooted ICS ROM, which should come couple days right after OTA update comes out. Either way, we should have ICS soon.

@biggiesmalls657 If you mean you want a phone without signing a contract like prepaid then you can just go to Metro PCS or boost mobile.. If you mean like a off contract just pay str8 out for a phone it will be hard to find phone like this or a galaxy nexus cheap.. you can get a Nexus one for like 150 used on ebay. Or import the huawei Honor. it suppose to have a ICS file floating around
