My opinion, Dennis's voice and talent is second to none. And that includes Elvis and Sinatra. If you will spend some time to listen to him, you will see what I am saying. I'm not talking about charisma or his stage presence or name recognition. But his beautiful voice and delivery. Dennis never misses a word or a note. Perfection.

Born in 68' I grew up on Dr hook . I still apply this song to a girl I loved from Bulgaria.. (Natalia Mikova Mikova) her mom died and she chose to return to Bulgaria and care for her mourning father which I understood having just lost my father a few years before.. Ironically our parents both died on Christmas Day. Man we loved each other and planned to stay together forever.. but I respected her decision and was proud of her for being so strong Dr. Hooks'songs will be cheished by many to come

You gotta love the Hook! I'm not sure what i'm a bigger fan of though, their songs like this, or the ones like Pennecillin Penny! They had such a wide variety of tunes. You could even debate the eras as well. In the seventies they had the hippy potthead look, and then disco hit and they "cleaned up" if you will. One of the best groups around for the simple reason that they enjoyed what they did. Thenks for posting a wonderful tune from the past.
