How exactly did you convert it into electricity. I see your coils, but I do not see any magnets. I would like to do the same with mine, but my magnet/coil idea did not work as well as I would have liked it to.
I think they're on the back of the CD, when it rotates you can see that the shiny side of the CD it extends out a bit. It could just be vibration I guess but because it happens only on the back and not the front, I would think otherwise.

im guessing he put the magnets (note the 's') on the cd looking thing. i cant see any magnets but thats where i'd put em
