It's sad to see that this project did not get off the ground due to the writer's strike. What's even more unfortunate is that "Heroes" is now in real danger of NBC pulling the plug.

With declining ratings, viewer interest waning and the show coming under a barrage of criticism that the quality of the storytelling has diminished since season one, the show could certainly use show fresh creative perspective right now.

Such a pity that the producers didn't get Kevin Smith to come on board.....

The sad thing is the quality is improving (so far, Volume 5 looks pretty decent) , but Heroes being a serial thing, bringing the high ratings back, even if the quality goes up, is quite problematic... I hope the series will go on for a couple more years.

Yeah, too bad Heroes Origins was cancelled. Kevin is a good writer, he might have done a great episode, I was waiting for Origins to happen only because of him.
