100 imperial guards = 500 points wow awesome so 300 =1500 omg so if you would play an apocalypse with 5k a side and you take only ig its 1000 guardsmen...^^
@XxFalloutShelterxX Thanks for the suggestion, but I really want to keep it black. I want all armor, straps, boots & the weapon black and the clothing green.
Hehe... it's just painted with Goblin Green at the moment, might give it a wash with some darker green. As for the base, of course it will receive a regular basing, but as I said in the video, this was just a test figure for the color scheme, that's why I left the base undecorated so far.
I wonder how you could tell that, from the distance the figure was usually shown / the blurry closeups. ;) I'm certainly not a great painter, I'd say it's regular tabletop standard.
But hey, everybody is entitled to his own opinion.

Even though this video is old I would reccomend a lighter color for the helmet since it seems to match his uniform.

Adding some basing really improves the look of the model over all. Just some sand and static grass and it'll really be that much better.
I think the colour scheme is pretty good, but the grenade could be darker, kind of looks like a lime at the moment :P
