Gotta love those 4/4 country shuffles -- love 'em!!! Pedal steel on this is pure perfection. Great fiddle, too. I believe I'll fall in love today . . . with this song!
I have to play this song pretty often. It's wonderful by Conway. It's been recorded by so many artists I've found. A young cousin of mine never liked country music of any kind till she met Conway at a show in Cincinnati sometime I believe in the early 80's. She fell in love with him and his music. Now if my hero Gene Watson had a recording of this my life would be complete. LOL. Thank you again for posting this. - Paula
conway twitty has always been my most favorite artist in the world. i grew up listening to him, in the car on road trips and in my home as a child. this man made a lot of wonderful songs. thank you conway! rest in peace.
I'm so glad to find this classic by Conway. It's one of my favorite songs - and I have danced to it many times thru the years. Conway does a great job with it. He is a country music icon for sure. I remember hearing The Wilburn Brothers sing it in their shows years ago but can't remember if they recorded it. For me, it's one of those songs you just always enjoy no matter who sings it. Thanks so much for posting. - Paula
