Actually, though the song is depressing the story of Sleeping Beauty is not a sad one. In fact, the princess lives happily ever after (cliche i know) with the prince and their childeren.

Aside from that,Miku's Light voice goes well with the depressing and metal music, and it is a very well contrast. Vey well crafted and the story of pain behind the song is made out clearly.
