main event scene is very stale. im tired of davey roddy and eddie fighting for the belt since tyler black left. i wasn't able to sit through the whole show. those inside roh segments just make me tune out. it feels like a damn infomercial instead of a show
@carl0frmdavalley The inside ROH segments do make us tune out a bit too, and I agree the main event scene is stale, which is why we are hoping for Steen in there soon
Is there any wrestling company in the world that people dont bitch about, why is everyone acting like they are a booker these days, pluss what the hell happned to patience. Brithish fist, i dont even know why the hell you guys watch wrestling you guys hate everything. To mutch wrestling, not enough wrestling, that guy should win, hey why the hell did that guy win, to mutch talking, not enought talking, push that guy, hay why did they push that guy. This isnt hate or troll just my opinion.
@sasukemoores There are always going to be flaws, and when we complain we are only going off how we feel things could be done better, its sometimes not necessarily about being negative, its looking at how things could be better, we for one minute do not think we are bookers, we just suggest things that would be better to our taste, and as we are mainstream wrestling fans I think ROH should listen to people like us as they should be appealing to more than just their small fan base
@WWEDaniel01 I understand nothing is perfect, but people what what they want straight away and then when they get it they want something else. People need to slow down and stop jumping to conclusions, we all speak like we have backstage inside knowlege of how things work and we dont. We dont know what future plans are to do with certain people so lets all chill for a bit.
@sdbxnbbl91 Its very true, our main issue is just that there is nothing interesting going into next week that really has us captivated, especially after Final Battle which was a poor (yet overrated) show
@mikej690 Strong is not very high on my list just because he is a typical 'ROH guy' with no character and pushed to the main event scene when he clearly isn't meant to be there at all, they just push him there because they know he won't leave like a proper main eventer like Danielson, McGuiness, Black etc did when they were top guys for the company
@WWEDaniel01 Yes its really sad because guys like Kevin Steen and Mike Bennett should be pushed alot harder then strong and edwards. Speaking of bennett he should be the ROH TV champion instead of jay lethal in my opinion this guy has something that jay doesn't at the moment and thats characther
@mikej690 The moment did seem right at Final Battle to finally give him that belt, but in typical ROH fashion they don't give the belt to someone who isn't a typical ROH guy... Tbh Mondo should be getting more of a push than Strong & Richards right now, his character stand out in this show... ROH do need to push more guys with characters, and not boring ass 'technical wrestling skill', lets get some variation in the product ROH
@WWEDaniel01 couldnt agree more! ROH has become boring due to them having the same old techincal wrestler that cant say shit on the mic. Having different guys might make them become bigger stars somewhere else but its not like ROH is going to die just because one of their top guys goes to TNA or WWE Hell austin aries aries and punk left and ROH wasn't harm but if they dont make the show intersting then few people are going to watch it. Wrestling isn't all that matters fans need to be entertained
@mikej690 Exactly, they need some variation, guys like Mondo, Steen & Bennett need to be pushed so that they make the technical wrestlers good better and offer a different style for people to enjoy... They need to go away from the whole 'here's a match next week' and start giving us stronger storylines, because just having a match really doesn't give us much incentive to watch the next episode, especially one which is jut kinda random
@WWEDaniel01 yes mondo, steen, & bennett should be pushed as top guys of the company like mondo should be a strong upper midcarder, bennett should be the tv champion, and steen should have continued his quest for the ROH world championship. The wrestling is great but hyping up the next ppv or like you said have people want to tune in next week by having a cilffhanger at the end of every show
@mikej690 Steen should definitely be a top guy, Bennett/Mondo can wait a bit before they are built better, I doubt ROH would even think about pushing Mondo, but like you said you need more than just matches to look forward too, we need some interesting stuff and tbh we are begging for the 3rd TV show to come cuz that is thet one which Steen will be on... With ROH only having an hour a week they really need to budget their time as effectively as they can
@WWEDaniel01 I feel like Mondo is getting the crash holly treatment where he gets treated like a jobber but he's to good to be one. Bennett should be a heel champion because that draw heat. Having Jay lethal beating El Generico is pointless. A face beating a face does nothing i would like bennett have the title and have lethal chase after it or generico. Steen's main event push needs to happen QUICK! like you said steen starting the show would be nice because he's over as hell!
i am skeptical with how roh will build these next 2 (technically 3) ippvs in a span of 2-3 weeks between them. somewhat reminds me the hiac/bragging rights stuff. now that they advertised the 10th anniversary show they have no choice but to build that show up and then you're left with the showdown in the sun ippvs.
@LV5454 Not really sure how they will do this, it would seem to me that they will build to SITS and maybe just do 10th Anniversary show with little (or normal) ROH build
i think this was one of the better episodes from previous ones. i agree it would of been better for steen to be infront the crowd rather than doing a backstage segment. i think the amount of wrestling somewhat proves the effect of the length of backstage segments. i think they should start doing 3 matches really just for that reason. i jus seet the edwards/strong matches as a starting point for what happens next, but at the same time some things could of been adressed better coming off the ippv
@LV5454 about 1 month after the iPPV, we really expected ROH to start off strong and to us it just seemed like they didn't capture the very little fire they got from their iPPV, the only thing good on that iPPV was Steen and ROH could've started off strong if they had him, but the way they opened the show was just not what we wanted, the loser of the main event Eddie Edwards (who bored us with his promo once again) got us started which was just meh rather than yeah
@LV5454 They really need to minimize or get rid of the inside ROH segment, the reason for the lack of match time was due to the in ring segment with the Briscoe's which was good, but there is just too much canned stuff atm which makes the shows feel very amateur, 3 matches a week is better though
main event scene is very stale. im tired of davey roddy and eddie fighting for the belt since tyler black left. i wasn't able to sit through the whole show. those inside roh segments just make me tune out. it feels like a damn infomercial instead of a show

rodrick strong is just AWFUL ON THE MIC! Wrestling is suppose to be about entertaining the fans not boring them to death with him talking
mikej690 1 month ago
@mikej690 At least he wasn't on the mic on this episode, Martini doing all the talking is the right way to go

@WWEDaniel01 i agree managers who can talk should mainly do the talking when it comes to him

@mikej690 Should always be the case, especially in the case of a guy who is as bad on the mic as Strong
