its the perfect secure bun to do, rock hard, just that it's SO TIGHT on me sometimes, i have to place the stick at least 4-6 inches away from my scalp to get a good stable bun without it pulling on my scalp.

If your hair is significantly longer and thick, you should be able to do it, it will just be a much bigger bun! My hair is much longer now than it was when I made this video (I'm a bit past waist length now, the video was made when my hair was well above mid back), and I can still do this bun perfectly, I just wrap the tail around a few times instead of leaving it sticking out like I did back then. Thick hair requires more length to do buns, but you should be fine!

This is totally not working for me and my hair is a bit longer than yours. I can't seem to get the stick in right after the twist. It's trying to stab my head. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. :(

@kome Nevermind, I figured it out. You have to pull the stick out a little before pushing it through, otherwise it doesn't work! Whoops. :D
