So many of us Baptist like to sit on the back pew they had to build a lot of churches or we would not have any place to sit.

The reason there are so many Baptist Churches in our area is 1. That is the main denomination in the area. 2. because most of them are well over 100 years old and I'm sure you noticed that this is a very rural area, so the churches mostly began as small community churches because people were so spread out and most without reliable transportation it wasn't feasible to have large centrally located churches

This was shot in several North Georgia Counties. Fannin, Union, Towns, Rabun, Stephens, White & Lumpkin. I think I named them all.

I was Lucky to grow up in white county until I was 15. If only the rest of the world could experiance the clamness we do here.

I know what you mean. When I leave for a week or so. I am always happy to get back here. We may be related. Although I grew up in and still live in Lumpkin County. I am related to about half the people in White County.
