  • how does the 2 different tunings work? in everything iv ever learned so far would tell me it would cancel out lie u said at the end. can u explain please?

  • @teddy9090 Well, it is simular to adding different size mids and highs... The only time you would have problems is if the subs were all in the same cabinet not partitioned... you really don't have to change tuning as much as making sure they are not in same cabinet... For some reason people think that it cannot be done, however if done right, it will sound incredible, you will play a wider range of frequencies more evenly. People who say it cant be done, prolly never tried or did it wrong...

  • @SPLDust thanks that makes sense. would the effect be the same if you used the same sized subs? instead of 18's and 15's just 15's in separate enclosures with diff tuning to have the same wider range?

  • @teddy9090 yes, we used to do that for poeple who wanted to go real low and play the upper bass also...
