Looks like a great tab, I have an Asus transformer, a touchpad, and a galaxy tab 10.1 that should be here soon. Hopefully I like it enough to trade my Asus for something more portable such as this. Or maybe buy a galaxy note and just get rid of my phone. If only they would bring it to the states with lte.
Michael could you review 3G version in the future, im interested in the voice call and sms function of this tablet. pairing it with bluetooth headset could make it a nice phone
@SerotheoIXI more like something focus I would love to do which is listen to music, play games, watch movies, web browsing, and maybe read some books. Don't want to pay more for camera I won't use, and try to be a touchscreen computer phone. I just want something like those game handhelds but better and under $300.
@Mouthmusician That's the thing though, with the fact that this thing is running Android 2.3 the Dual-core processor is wasted, it doesn't even require an update to ICS where it'd take advantage of the processor because it doesn't use any Google Core apps.
is it a phone?

Great review. I was wondering about the quality of the music app and the speakers. Are you impressed with the audio quality?

Looks like a great mid-point between 4+ inch smartphones and 10" tablets, though 8 inches seems like my ideal size overall.

@LePierre
Samsung has a 7.7" & an 8.9" tablets for you to choose from, unlike apple where one-size-fits-all

@Mouthmusician Clearly you're not looking for a Tablet, but an extension of an eBook Reader.
