@BenMcLfc Hey Man, you should try to contact your local paintball store, support local and all that. However, I went to google and typed in Paintball Store UK and found like hundreds of entries. Try calling around and see who carries BT products :)
@llGoTxNiTrO Hello :) Assuming you are running the Apex barrel already, the next best thing you can do is shoot a nice high quality paint that is sized really well to your barrel. Sadly range is a limited in paintball, it's just the nature of the beast.
@flappyballs14 Hello, Hooking up a remote line to any paintball gun is very easy. You should try to get one with a "slide check" for added convenience as they are even easier to use. Head to your local shop and have one of the staff give you a demo if your at all uncertain :)
@MASTERMARK360 Hello, That is a tough question. Both those 2 guns work very well. If you are going to go with an X7 make sure you get the X7 Phenom which features a smarter valve system and all of your cyclone upgrades. My advice would be to go to your local shop and pick both guns up, see which you like the feel of better.
I want to get into MilSim or Woodsball, is this good gear for that? - woodland BDU (Battle Dress Uniform, baically pants and jacket), black leather combat boots, knee pads, three different camo long sleeve shirts, a very expensive CadPat (Canadian Army camouflage) combat/tactical vest, used by the army but modified to fit the needs of paintball (2+1 pod pouch, etc), mask, kevlar style helmet, elbow pads, two balaclavas, two walkie talkies, 3 bandanas, a neck protector. anything else I need?
@PaintballRaiders That all sounds great sir. While a Kevlar helmet and balaclavas are not essential to paintball play, they will fill out your look, which is cool :) You are going to need-
1. A Paintball Gun with hopper and tank.
2. A Pair of high quality Thermal goggles. Check out our Event Goggle vid here- /watch?v=sG3SBePmKMY
@MrCheespuff Hi Cheesepuff, Thats hard to say. I guess the MINIMUM would be zero. Don't put in a battery, don't turn the gun on and it won't shoot the ball at all.
@SAINTxApollyon I think there is an adapter made for the A5 and the X7. If you google "x7 flasc rip clip" or "a5 flasc rip clip", you should find it. They're about $30 on Rockstar Tactical, but I don't know how these pieces work, or if they're reliable or durable.

@buypaintballdotca Thanks for the help, i live in canada to that that would come in handy i think im going to go with the HPA tank, do u no if paintball shops, also refills HPA tanks besides Co2 tanks?

@ocnaib13 Hello, As your range increases your accuracy decreases. You are going to find it very difficult to land a head shot at 300+ feet with an Apex barrel on an Elite. At 280 feet I think you could land the head shot with the Apex but it may take more than one shot. Within 250 feet you should be able to scalp fools easilly :)
@buypaintballdotca thanks alot. i have an apex on my spyder mr4 but ive seen that the effects of an apex differ from gun to gun. also if anyone is interested in buying my mr4 pm me and ill make a video. need the cash for the delta haha
We have a full woodsball field, located outside of the city. This video was done at our indoor course which is attached to our retail store making it easy a quick to do the video to show you this equipment
Hey there, that's pretty easy actually. Just open the left side of the grip, and you'll see there are a few dip switches. Just set them both to "on" and you're laughing!
@ludi12345 I can't make much sense of this comment, but if you're curious about the egrip, this marker has the BT-4 egrip, which does not have the external selector. The programming and switching of firing modes is done on the inside of the grip.
It's all a matter of personal preference really. I come from a speedball background, so I'm used to using the tank like a stock. I was just demoing the gun in this video, nothing serious.
@MrLucidNightmare with the newer milsim markers that problem has been taken care of, im pretty sure with this one you shouldnt have any problems although i could be wrong i have never had the chance to shoot this gun. Looks like a damn good gun all around,
Ya, a common issue with cyclone/rip clips. The balls rattle around in the hopper part, and sometimes the last few will bounce around for a while before getting fed into the breech.
Well, I can't say for sure what type of paint I was using in this video (it was filmed well over a year ago). What I can tell you is that it is most likely a hight quality paint. The paint shell is a bright orange colour, which leads me to believe it was probably Evil Ultra, which is generally very brittle. If your marker is breaking excessively, you should probably have it serviced. There might be something wrong.

i have this gun and i love it, it feel good in your hand and it has a nice weight to it. But im looking to buy a better barrel and i was thinking of the sly dual carbon fiber barrel. Would u recommend that barrel and do u know any other barrels that would be perfect for this gun and that are accurate but also are only under 100$??
@Justalittled Well, the Sly barrel system is great. I believe those barrel systems retail in and around the $150+ range. A good barrel under $100 is the Lapco Big Shot, which you can also get with an Apex ready tip. The Invert Nightstick is also a very nice barrel under $100. Also carbon fibre, and great accuracy.
I don't understand the appeal of "tactical" markers. 13 bps was the industry-limited standard back in the 90's but guns in this price range are getting 20+ bps easily now. This is a gas blowback with an electronic frame and a flatline-equivalent barrel for $300? Tippmann did that years ago with the Model 98. Is this really progress? The only innovation i see with this marker is the integrated flatline-type barrel. Non functional "magazines" and rails add weight and sacrifice performance, no?
I remember the days when we were actually against the "gun-toting man-child" image of the sport that is prevalent now. Woods ball and scenario games are great opportunities to play some epic paintball, but now we've got guys in tactical vests posting videos of "kills," "headshots," "executions," and various other ways of "dusting" dudes. This hurts paintball. Drop the fake mag and pick up an inline reg or at least an expansion chamber, then you can catch up to where the sport was 13 years ago.
Well, the answer is simple. Tippmann 98 at 20 bps = unnessesary wear on the internals. Your marker will not last two seasons before you have to replace the hammer and sear ($50!).
Limiting the rate of fire allows the marker to last alot longer, and be more reliable. This gun will not break a ball, where as many other blow back markers at 20 bps will most certainly chop paint. So would you rather have a reliable marker that shoots slightly slower, or try and run your Tippmann well over the recommended rate of fire. (Like driving a Honda Civic like a Ford Mustang, not good.)
Yes, this marker is A5 Threads, and you can put a flatline barrel system on it. Although, the Apex barrel does the same thing as the flatline, only better IMO :)
Wish there was more videos on this gun, Getting back into paintball but literally have no equipment. Thinking about buying this gun but not %100 sure yet. Looking for the best price too (In Canada)
Do you guys carry any of the older versions of this gun? because I hear the newest ones the clip is alot shorter and doesnt look that great and the the front barrel is all plastic pretty much.
We are a Canadian company, the prices listed on our site are in Canadian $'s which accounts for some of the pricing difference. Add to that the brokerage and duty our governement charges when products are shipped from the US to Canada and you can account for a large difference in our prices and theirs. I am glad you like ansgear, if you were a Canadian consumer and ordered from them you would receive a very large bill for brokerage and duty making their prices equal to or worse then ours
I pulled this gun right out of a box to do this video. No upgrades, no tune-ups. Straight from the box. This gun is the real deal, and comes with everything ready to rip at 13bps. Definately an amazing grab.
I would recommend either the 98 or the BT4. Both are great for woodsball. The BT4 is slightly more versatile in terms of changing the look up (ie. M-16).
Of those I like the Bt-4 just because it has a sliding MP5 stock like the one on the delta in this video, but the 98 and the Bt-4 are almost identical, and I don't know much about the alpha black. Another amazing starter gun is the Smart Parts Sp-1 which is a bit more expensive but blows away all of the ones in its price range and the ones u mentioned.
Its full auto and electro pneumatic, like all high end guns and the new X7 phenom.
I've been invited to join a paintball team by mayhem paintball, one of the marshalls there is a coach, i've been asked to try and buy a gun, ive got 400 quid, to spend andi don't know what to get i've been told BT4 Delta Elite, it looks cool but is it worth it or is there something else? ABP
Hey Penguin, sounds like you're in for a wild ride with this team. The Delta Elite is a great marker, but if you have some cash to spend, you should also check out the Tippmann X7 Phenom (review available on our page) or the BT TM-15 (sick marker, review coming soon.) These markers are both a step up from the Delta Elite, lighter, faster, and more accurate. But the Delta Elite is still a great gun, especially for the price ( < $400 CAD!)
This guy is even cooler up close at Flagswipe Paintball!! Everyone should stop by the Shop there in London when they have a chance to! I was a sponsored player for them when I lived in the London Area and they were all an absolute joy to work with! Flagswipe rules!
Awesome, will be on the watch, will you be reviewing the Tippman X7? I don't plan to buy it because it's overpriced, but then again it's Tippman, but I'd like to see you review it.
Well BritCommando, the X7 is also a pretty nice marker. Between it and the BT Delta Elite, I would definately go BT. There is however the X7 Phenom, which is a bit more sophisticated than it's predecessor. Check out the review on our page! Cheers!
this guy is really entertaining. why is he in camo inside on an air ball field. why is he yelling? whats with his hair and just cause u didnt chop a ball that time doesnt mean u wont u dont have eyes
There is no dress code at our indoor airball field you can wear camo if you want to. He is yelling because he is excited about the product. His hair is on his head as normal. Just because you have eyes doesn't mean you won't chop a ball....... hope I have answer all you questions and comments
The output pressure of CO2 can change depending on the weather. HPA on the other hand, does not change. It's normal that the output pressure of CO2 would be higher than HPA on average, but it's not bad for your gun. Just make sure you chronograph when switching between HPA and CO2.
We have a new version coming in the near future, there will be an O9 Invert Avatar in BT Camo in the very near future. This is BT and Invert listening to the demands of customers and stores like ours to create a unique product that will benefit many paintball players
Definately worth it. Under 4 bills at Flagswipe. All the greatest features for a blow-back milsim, all together in an affordable package that looks fantastic! You should get one.
That's only your opinion. Have you ever played in a woodsball tournament? You're up against TM-15s, TM-7s, MTacs, and BT Delta Elites. Some of these markers shoot 20+bps. Your apex will assist you when they're on the other side of the field, but once they're in range, your toast without an egrip, unless you've been playing paintball since the old stock class days;)
"Incomprehensible yelling" hahaha

Well, the answer is simple. Tippmann 98 at 20 bps = unnessesary wear on the internals. Your marker will not last two seasons before you have to replace the hammer and sear ($50!).
buypaintballdotca 1 year ago
Limiting the rate of fire allows the marker to last alot longer, and be more reliable. This gun will not break a ball, where as many other blow back markers at 20 bps will most certainly chop paint. So would you rather have a reliable marker that shoots slightly slower, or try and run your Tippmann well over the recommended rate of fire. (Like driving a Honda Civic like a Ford Mustang, not good.)

Is this A5 threaded, could you put a flatline on it?
Riiavo 1 year ago
Yes, this marker is A5 Threads, and you can put a flatline barrel system on it. Although, the Apex barrel does the same thing as the flatline, only better IMO :)

@paintball612
Yes, 25bps is faster than 13bps. How much did you pay for your gun though?

yall suck on yalls prices on your web site ansgear is way better ansgear ansgear ansgear
ggop27 2 years ago
We are a Canadian company, the prices listed on our site are in Canadian $'s which accounts for some of the pricing difference. Add to that the brokerage and duty our governement charges when products are shipped from the US to Canada and you can account for a large difference in our prices and theirs. I am glad you like ansgear, if you were a Canadian consumer and ordered from them you would receive a very large bill for brokerage and duty making their prices equal to or worse then ours

Should I really get this gun. Is that how it will actually shoot when I get it home??
117thBeast 2 years ago
I pulled this gun right out of a box to do this video. No upgrades, no tune-ups. Straight from the box. This gun is the real deal, and comes with everything ready to rip at 13bps. Definately an amazing grab.

what should i buy a tipman 98 , alpha black or a bt4 dont remember the name but looked like a 98

tm 15
PaintBallCanada 2 years ago
@PaintBallCanada its off the price range but thanks
masthefool 2 years ago
I would recommend either the 98 or the BT4. Both are great for woodsball. The BT4 is slightly more versatile in terms of changing the look up (ie. M-16).
buypaintballdotca 2 years ago
@buypaintballdotca thanks for the reply ill bur the p8 custom pro probably
masthefool 2 years ago
Of those I like the Bt-4 just because it has a sliding MP5 stock like the one on the delta in this video, but the 98 and the Bt-4 are almost identical, and I don't know much about the alpha black. Another amazing starter gun is the Smart Parts Sp-1 which is a bit more expensive but blows away all of the ones in its price range and the ones u mentioned.
Its full auto and electro pneumatic, like all high end guns and the new X7 phenom.
Advanced gun but very cheap for the quality.
Check it out

I've been invited to join a paintball team by mayhem paintball, one of the marshalls there is a coach, i've been asked to try and buy a gun, ive got 400 quid, to spend andi don't know what to get i've been told BT4 Delta Elite, it looks cool but is it worth it or is there something else? ABP
AbentPenguin 2 years ago

You my friend should review all guns because you make them awesome lol.
BritCommando12 2 years ago
Thanks man! I will be doing many more reviews in the new year. Cheers!
buypaintballdotca 2 years ago
Awesome, will be on the watch, will you be reviewing the Tippman X7? I don't plan to buy it because it's overpriced, but then again it's Tippman, but I'd like to see you review it.
BritCommando12 2 years ago
Well BritCommando, the X7 is also a pretty nice marker. Between it and the BT Delta Elite, I would definately go BT. There is however the X7 Phenom, which is a bit more sophisticated than it's predecessor. Check out the review on our page! Cheers!

this guy is really entertaining. why is he in camo inside on an air ball field. why is he yelling? whats with his hair and just cause u didnt chop a ball that time doesnt mean u wont u dont have eyes
ryan8012 2 years ago
There is no dress code at our indoor airball field you can wear camo if you want to. He is yelling because he is excited about the product. His hair is on his head as normal. Just because you have eyes doesn't mean you won't chop a ball....... hope I have answer all you questions and comments
buypaintballdotca 2 years ago
so. i have a question... why is it that you guys support BT over any company?
PBJame 2 years ago
Check out our channel, you can even see a video comment on this post in regards to the new Tippmann Phenom
buypaintballdotca 2 years ago
Ya, my Elite never breaks paint, even in the cold (I am in Canada). I also have hair on my head.
stadiv 2 years ago

Very nice marker,
ive seen its over 400 euro,
I think its still worth it
OldSkoolStudio 2 years ago
funny how he didn't talk about the apex barrel which is 10 times more important in woodsball than a egrip
Toxicairity 2 years ago
That's only your opinion. Have you ever played in a woodsball tournament? You're up against TM-15s, TM-7s, MTacs, and BT Delta Elites. Some of these markers shoot 20+bps. Your apex will assist you when they're on the other side of the field, but once they're in range, your toast without an egrip, unless you've been playing paintball since the old stock class days;)
