PennDOT Tow Plow

How does that plow work if it's running on the crown of the road? If that plow is 20 ft long it has to be hitting a crown and not scraping the entire road with the plow somewhere. We tried one in Connecticut and they never got one. They got us a double wing instead which works great.

@Touchofred239 they actually are pretty safe.. the plowing only goes 25-30 miles hr in the freeway and the driver has control of the tail. They use them in Utah every winter.

Besides it takes an extra truck to shadow the Plow for safety, people have no common sense and just want to pass.
