thanks for your time. I wanted to make sure that this will work with Basecamp (the rough equivalent to mapsource for Mac) I was in the process of downloading training center for Mac, but don't think it will be necessary. I have mapInstall as well.

I'm not sure your familiarity with Mac, but hoping you can relay that info before I take the plunge.

Well, it took me a few days to figure this all out, but I finally got it to work, and installed a few maps on my GPS, but never did use them.

Now, jump forward 6 months and I now have a new computer and moved to Windows 7 from XP. The problem now is, I cannot get the maps to appear on MapSource! Has anyone else had this problem and can they give me an idea on how to remedy this?

I'm not sure if it's a problem with Windows or just something I am not doing correctly?

hey so i did everything you said and i transfered my selected map area to my MicroSD card on my garmin Oregon, but how do i use the maps if they are on the microSD card?

Took me awhile to figure this one out also. You jumped from doing an ISO file which I never did to clicking on Install. I finally tried doing the install but my computer does not respond so I keep having to terminate it! Could this be a corrupted file that I downloaded? Any thoughts on this anyone.

Hi. One thing i'm sorry to mention is that you actually forgot to explain how to fix the bug which is that: I can't see details on the east coast (for instance i don't see the road's names) although i see these on the West coast. Please help me troubleshooting...

They should be there... You have to download all of Canada though (not region by region).
