I think Shania is one of the ones who really do appreciate their luck and fortune, knowing her very rough childhood & youth. She does amazing charity work towards less fortunate children, too.

@mokhashin I think you are correct to an extent......but she also has a castle in Switzerland.....many differernt homes in the USA and Canada......I am not hating.....actually i am a big fan of Shania.....but i think if you broke it down and looked at it closely.....most of the money she spends is on herself and for her pleasure......but she earned it......so what the hell?....I know if I had that much money I would be suspicious of all charities asking for money

@jmallton This woman grew up taking mustard sandwiches to school so no one would think the family needed food; and after her parents were killed, lived with her siblings in a house with no plumbing, so that they had to bathe and brush their teeth in a river. Today, she engages in philanthropic efforts for hungry kids (that particular cause being, unsurprisingly, near and dear to her heart), and she also has the wherewithal to travel and enjoy her life. No one should begrudge her anything.

I am so happy Shania is such a real, beautiful person on the INSIDE and she reaches out to hug nomads in Egypt. I mean, not your everyday celebrity would choose to go to these parts of the world where--let's face it-- they are more disadvantaged economically. And my husband is Egyptian and I love Egypt so I am not dissing Egypt. I have a brand sparkling new admiration for Shania and a much more human appreciation of her that cannot be put to words!
