Yet our own Seventh-day Adventist church not only allows abortion, but our hospitals perform it. Is it not a greater moral blot on the character of this church that claims to be God's remnant church?

@rusda2 They (SDA) live by the law, not God's grace. Also, they preach a false Christ. They believe that Jesus was a created being who was first created as Michael the Arch-angel, before being promoted to the Messiah. This thereby makes them a false church preaching false Christianity (a false Christ). And, E.G. White was a false prophet; a prophet the SDA rely upon heavily!

You are teaching antinomianism and that is a false teaching. there is no place in the entire bible that teaches us that when we accept christ we are no freed from the obligation to keep His law. thats ridiculous.

"Other" churches don't disregard the law, we just recognize that we are NOT saved by the law (including whether one goes to church on Saturday or Sunday). Jesus fulfilled ALL the law (moral and ceremonial), thereby we fulfill the law by following Christ. We are SAVED by GRACE through FAITH in CHRIST, and CHRIST ALONE!! @rusda2 when we follow Jesus (and put our faith and total trust in Him) His righteousness is imputed to us..........though we still aren't perfect. So, in God's eyes we are righteous....not because of anything we do or don't do, but because of what Jesus did for us. I've researced not only the SDA, but Mormons, Jehovah Witnesses, Roman Catholicism, etc. Maybe you should dig deeper into what your church truly believes! Our TOTAL savlvation is dependant on what Jesus did, not US!

I know for a fact & my church teaches that NO ONE can be saved by works...can I be any plainer? but what you dont get is that grace does NOT in any way negate or do away with the law or any part of it...they are STILL the 10 COMMANDMENTS, not suggestions.
if grace did away with obedience there would be no sin since the cross.

it's very simple. does an apple tree produce apples in order to BE an apple tree? or BECAUSE IT IS an apple tree? SDA's keep His law because we ARE Christians & LOVE God, not in order to BE Christians. Any SDA who says we keep the law to be saved is confused or worse.
then there are others whom u seem to agree with teaching we should NOT keep God's law
