  • @David depending on the age/size factor you can buy all your gear for $1000 an under, and a bike depending on you.

  • i wanna start with motocross. how much does it cost to start including bike and everything? Used bike ofcourse.

  • *and my suspension uncompresses*

  • When I leave the face of the jump and my suspension my bike tends to almost buck me off of it and I start to endo, any tips?

  • @Troman16 Are u sitting down?

  • @Troman16 You should try to take the preload down and also the rebound that way your shocks don't decompress too fast.

  • As long as you align yourself to rear and you are not sitting, rest comes naturally.

  • keep pressing 4, the face

  • I'm 14 and these are super basic for me it's a little weird:P

  • do you stand up full straight on the bike? or do you bend you knees slighly?

  • @SCORPION5O you'll want to bend your knees a little for easier balance and better control

  • Wow this was actually alot of help

  • It's weird. i don't even think about doing this, I just do it! LOL

  • @allinpokerhand001 that's bcz you master the jumps.

Same goes for a language, it goes automatically after a while

  • Can anyone help ? So im going up the the face of the jump and im going pretty fast but i always slow down right before the jump and almost every time I i jump the bike i always endo or the front of the bike just goes down. Is it because I start to slow down ? Should I just keep the same speed im already going or what ? I'm confused

  • @bananapuffcream1 hi mate i used to do the same thing on my 85 all you have to do is keep a steady throttle opening i dont mean keep it pinned ( not yet anyway :P) just half open and ur back wheel will come down and dont sit to far forward either hope this helped :)

  • @IROCKS7ARI yeah thanks man. i'm going to the track tomorrow and i'll just have to suck it up and try it out. but thanks for the tips. its good to know there riders that help out there :D and not just bash on other riders. well thanks and good look in the future for whatever happens bro

  • Nice tips man ..im goin to practice these at the track next time !

  • do you have to hold the clutch when you jump?

  • Just started motorcross and came back from the track today not shaw of what i was doing wrong, this has saved me some pain and not looking to much like a goose! thanks well done.

  • I think its Gyroscopic precession that causes the bike to right itself when trying to save an "Endo" :)

  • Comment removed

  • i know what he means by not gripping with your knees, i was riding yesterday and did everything expet that on a step up and the bike pulls away so it will keep it close as well haha\

  • Cycle Ranch love it, don't listen to this people, you did a good job

  • this guy made me scared of doing jumps.

  • @nomercy7771 same here....

  • yes thats cycle ranch forsure

  • Do you have to clutch when you're using rear brake in mid air?

  • @Nickthepunk22 you can but it wastes time.

  • @Nickthepunk22 no but theres a very good possibility that your bike will die if you dont and that is not good ha

  • the rear wheel goes the other way ?

  • Are u at cycle ranch in texas

  • It's not called inertia, it's called conservation of angular momentum. Before correcting an idiot, make sure you're not one as well.

  • haha gravity is always acting on that rear tire. its called inertia.. also i cant believe he's telling beginners to brake tap

  • Nice video thanks it help me a lot thumbs up :)

  • so i hit it in 9th gear with purple powerband??

  • hold 5 it's the tmp on css with a laughf

  • He is just running out of breath when he is talking, public speaking, or a video can make someone nervous.. He knows his shit though.

  • @FOXDYE911 and he sounds sick, when iam sick im always out of fucking breath for some reason haha

  • @FOXDYE911 do you really pay attention that much to videos?

  • press 1 fast,then 2 fast, then 3 fast, then 5 fast, then 8 fast.

  • @TheBlackshoes17 How do you know he didnt just stop riding, he might be tired bcuz he was riding b4 this vid

  • press 565656565656 (5 and 6)

  • if you hit your back brake ur gonna die cuz ur front is gonna go way down, you just barely tap your back brake duh dude

  • how the fuck is a panic rev going to increase gravity to your back wheel... its all about the aerodynamics of the spinning wheel

  • tap three fast looks like he is have sex

  • tap 8 really fast

  • hahah also do 8 that ones funnier

  • lol press keep pressing 4 lol

  • he is dumb if u go up the jump in neutral u nose dive

  • you look like kevin on hot rod

  • Just gettin in to it, thanks for the info, good starting point

  • Jumping can be tricky. People have their own ways of jumping but you'll find your own way in time. I would practice alot on turns and turs like @NTSdrums said

  • keep pressing 5 and laugh then press 8 and he make a fuck up sound XD

    but helpful video

  • can anyone tell me why my bike sounds shitty?

    /watch?v=vYBtX-HeuZs

  • @TheBlackshoes17 he is probally at a high altitude

  • @4Jbreezy Haha, it's 'cause we all have dirt bikes!

  • during the panic rev gavity does not pull it down in that case your front wheel will always be up the torque from the rev pulls it up

  • Ok so say your just coasting down a hill where you don't give it gas do you hold in the clutch? I do t know proper times to use the clutch except for shifting and starting.

  • @Jake614DMR When coasting down a hill it is best to leave the clutch out so that you have some engine braking. If you pull the clutch in, you will start freewheeling and probably get faster and faster! Just keep 2 fingers on your clutch lever incase you need to pull it in for some reason :) Oh, and you dont have to use the clutch to change gears, if you just back off the gas, you can easily change gears. Alternativly, to go fast, just hold the throttle open and slip the clutch and upshift :)

  • if u like dirt bikes, watch my video and yes more will be coming along with 2011 dirt bikes, atv vs. dirt bike raves, long jumps and the sand dunes

  • calm down bro shit. catch your breath whats the big deal?

  • some people think that when the guy says panic rev u have to shift u dont good video btw

  • If you knew a thing or two about braap machines you'd know that if your in (neutral position) and you rev it your front end will barely come up

  • your a faggot

  • its cause he talks for 2 mminutes straight.

  • when u give it all of the gas on the way down do u shift in the air?

  • man you're so tired of talkong :DD

  • man you're sou tired of talkong :DD

  • its physics not gravity

  • u dont know crap idot

  • Take a breath man

  • damn stop stuttering

  • keep pressin 1:38

  • is he serious

  • wish he could get a sentence out

  • This guy is a genius you give it gas nd the tire spins faster and you hit the brake and the tire stops where would we be without this guy??

  • Jumping is the easy part. Practice turns and ruts until your fast enough to hit the jumps.

  • @NTSdrums My dad made me ride figure 8's when I was a kid and told me the same thing. He was 100% right. Jumping is fun and easy, but railing a berm on the pipe is an artform.

  • @NTSdrums i think its the opposite

  • @NTSdrums

after you hit a jump and a tight turn comes up quick how do you slow down enough before and through the turn so u dont crash?

  • @NTSdrums ruts suck

  • 88888888888888888888888888888888888888888888888888888888888888888888888888888888888888888888888888888888888888888888888888888888888888888888888888888888888888888888888888888888888888888888888888888888888888888888lol

  • keep pressing 0:47

  • @AIRMAN1479 BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA i did and it was flippin amazing lmfao

  • @TIMdaBEAST96 :L haha

  • @TIMdaBEAST96 keep pressing 8 on your keyboard :D

  • @AIRMAN1479 haha and 0:59

  • the way he talks it sounds like he just ran a 10 mile sprint

  • Great vid

  • Oh and too wlightning what kind of bike do you ride?? If your standing 99% of the time exactly how do you get the back tire to hook up between big doubles?? Or make a proper high speed turn(ie ass planted as far to the front to maximize front traction)?? sweeping general comments like these are why I love the internet lol! The best instruction on the planet is to watch some supercross paying attention to the pros body position and technique IMHO!

  • Just to clarify panic reving causes centrifugal force from the spinning of the rear tire forcing the front to rise (not creating gravity I loled sorry for nit picking) same as with the brake action in the air it stops the centrifugal motion of the rear tire pitching the nose down hope this helps! FYI I am a 42 your old MX rider riding a KTM 300 2 stroke (Im 5'8") started racing MX at 13 GL to all and keep the rubber side down :)

  • NICE VID i want to hit some nice jumps this year

  • panic rev puts mass in wheel

  • haha whaaaaat???? justen beiber on a dirt bike!

  • you better hit the gym

  • get some redbull i think you need it cuz u shure seem out of breth... ON A NON MOVING BIKE!!!

  • @cartalk31 quite you

  • puffinyat: you should standing 99% of the time when youre riding, the prevent your bike from trying to run away from you when you hit the gas you should be ALWAYS squeezing the gas tank with your knees, practice going slow and do this until you do it without even thinking

  • Can somebody translate me the main party...the important things into german, please;D he speaks so fast:) thanks. imean part...not party...hahaha

  • @cArOtiii shnell shnell was the important part

  • @mphalo1 ?? what?

  • Can somebody translate me the main party...the important things into german, please;D he speaks so fast:) thanks.

  • Anyone else notice how ridiculously out of breath he is on a motionless bike?

  • @TheBlackshoes17 I get tired just kicking my bike over at the start of the day.. :(

  • @TheBlackshoes17 i know , haha he is exhausted for some reason , he prob just finished riding

  • @213562213562 on a dirt bike that is clean like the floor of my house?

  • @TheBlackshoes17 Hes probably just nervous..

  • @TheBlackshoes17 maby hes camera shy and got nervose haha

  • @countrygal1434 all the jap bikes a pretty much equal, considering they're all jap...

  • can u make a video about clutch control around the track?

  • can someone help me cuz everytime a try riding and standing up i end up hitting the gas to hard on accident and i start falling back wich makes me hit the gas harder

  • moster energy

  • Hey everyone check out my fmx site, com, new forums added, you can also apply to be a moderator.

  • i always panic rev :(

  • what kinda bike iss thattt????? 250 it think?

  • @125KXGIRL 450 cause it has white background plates

  • this guy rules...helped me out lots...thumbs up pal

  • Thanks bro make more and I'm goin to comp edge tomorrow so this will help alot because I'm new to tracks and I'm a lil worried bout jumping but thank you

  • do you compress the suspension by pushing down right before and while your on the face of the jump?... Im talkin about if you jump with no throttle or accelerating

  • @jasoncherryy

If the face is steep enough and you are carrying enough speed, the suspension will compress on it's own. If you want to help the suspension to compress and release, many call this a seat bounce. Mainly used on a steep jump coming right out of a turn where you want to get some height. Stay seated and near the middle/back of the seat when approacing the jump, when you are on the face and as you feel the suspension rebound after leaving the lip, stand up.

  • This helped alot jumping is so hard

  • Hey so I hope anyone can help me with this question...and I have never raced motocross or have jumped for that matter...do you pull in the clutch when you are in the air??? or no also I heard you are supposed to roll on the throttle right as you hit the lip of the jump??? thanks!

  • @srfdood

It matters what type of bike you have, how big the jump is, and the speed you hit it at, most of the beginner jumps that you'll hit try to let off the throttle as soon as you get in the air, if your finding that you endo try to preload more, you shouldent realy be reving your bike in the air, or breaking for that matter if you hit the jump right and you preload correctly, reving is sorta a last resort but it helps you from bashing your skull in. Hope that helps

  • @srfdood im on an rm125 and no you dot need to pull the clutch in while in the air or at least i dont, i have only ben to a track about 4 times. the biggest jump i have hit was i think 75-80 feet and it was a table top. i cant make it over with my 125 cause its right fter a turn but i panic rev it and land on the back tire. thereis also a 65-70 table that i clear no problem. no reving or braking just clean sailing through the air so it all depnds onthe lip, speed bike body poss. hope this helped

  • @squantotheboywonder

It's not as likely to stall on a smaller 2-stroke when you tap the rear brake without pulling in the clutch. 4-stroke, you'll be sailing through the air with the engine off if you don't pull the clutch before tapping the rear brake, especially 450's. When landing, it could put you over the bars since you'd be essentially push starting your bike on the landing. Pushing your chest over the bars while doing all this will help to lower the front even more when looping out

  • i will try this tomorrow hopefully it helps i have a mod suzuki rm 85

  • WAIT! Is this the First time ExpertWillage wavent had a intro?

  • I want to jump my Motocross bike very much!!!

  • i should have watched this b4 i broke my shoulder learning to jump 2day haha

  • do you pull in the clutch when your in the air

  • @matttdaking no you just gas it for the landing so you can fall off backward Duh haha

  • @matttdaking No not unless you need the front end to come down, and therefore hit the back brake, its like a ball when its spinning it cuts through the air better, like rugby players or american football. if you rev mid air it brings the rear down quicker.

  • is it cr 500?

  • @l3illabong Are you mentally handicapped?

  • @Mulletman9619 u think so? go ask your mom

  • @l3illabong Are you in a wheelchair ? Does it look like a 2 stroke ?

  • @JaredProject lol for me they played a really dramatic sports ad advertising degree deodorant LOL XD

  • the bikes are fuckin expensive nad the gear too....damn i need to sell drgus to get all this...xD

  • thank you so much for explaning the give it gas or give it the rear brake technique!

  • you do not need to see a video of that to learn to jump; you learn it naturally

  • @baddini123 it doesn't come all naturally, ive seen some begginers jump with no instructions and you think they are going to crash, their positioning and how they approach a jump is shocking. You should learn all the basic techniques like this video is explaining. But anyways mate if thats what you think, its your choice.
