  • such a good feeeeeling!

  • 240p we meet again

  • @G1g0n 360p for me... ;p

  • dat bitrate

  • If the video of this song was about Julius Cesar crossing the Rubicon river in slow motion with his army in the back, well that'd have been extremely awesome.

  • @SuperLlanowar You can choose to do it either way. Learning to drive Manual is optional.

  • Can't stop playing air guitar at the end of the song!

  • Epic Volvo:-)))))))))))))

  • 3:08 VROOOM BOOM, the next day her pretty little face is in the obituary.

  • Music's great, but the Volvo is even better!

  • De l'or en barre. L'opulence la plus totale. Merci Fred Merci Alan.

  • 1:16 <3

  • @hujson77 Techno was conceived in Detroit and house music in Chicago. Ever heard of producers like Carl Craig, Jeff Mills, Derrick Carter, DJ Sneak, Mr. Fingers, DJ Pierre, Hyperactive, Joey Beltram, Derrick May, and DJ Rolando, to name a few? Ever heard of the Underground Resistance label out of Detroit? Don't try to brush off American producers when acts like Daft Punk would not exist if it weren't for Chicago house and Detroit techno artists.

  • @hujson77 thats kinda true, but why does that matter anyway. electronic music is getting very popular. plus.... deadmau5 is from north america!!!!

  • @navynaveed123 Deadmau5 is a horrible representation of North American EDM.

  • @hujson77 electronic music basically started in america

  • No joke my nickname is Rubicon

    First Name: Ruben

    Last Name: Villarreal

  • AMERICA!!!

  • cute video, awesome song. Gives me goosebumps, every friggin time.

  • @sjrasimons - just like soccer, there is no money in America for dance music. The closest most American youth have gotten to dance music is Lady Gaga (unfortunately). Furthermore, early house and its origin disco was dominated by America until it died in the 90's. It's funny that "Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger" is a Kanye song in America, and no one knows about Daft Punk, but American kids have their own music, and most of it involves instruments.

  • Sounds like I Ran from Flock Of Seagulls.

  • the americans, though definitely king at pretty much anything involving guitars suck at house, techno, really anything electronic. Leave it to the europeans

  • @sjrasimons That's a poor generalization, not to mention house and techno music originated in America.

  • @sjrasimons its not just europeans, canada and america also have good producers. skrillex is a beast from America, and deadmau5 is LEGEND from Canada. also for french house louis la roche is amazing from Europe

  • @navynaveed123 You shouldn't speak of anything when you name two of the worst catastrophes in EDM in recent memory to make your point.

  • @djafri84 you aren't funny

  • @navynaveed123 Someone's a little butthurt. Well, if you name Skrillex and Deadmau5 and press them as talented musicians then you deserve nothing but scorn and contempt.

  • @djafri84 deadmau5 is talented. skrillex is too, but in a different way. you are untalented

  • @navynaveed123 -- skrillex is garbage music. period.

  • @sjrasimons Ironically Europeans try to keep up with the latest trends which, in YOUR continent's opinion, come from us.

"Cause we're North Americans!" -LCD Soundsystem

  • @SnookMouth Im not too sure about that, considering all the great stuff coming from France: Breakbot, Justice, Daft Punk and from Germany Booka Shade, Boys Noize, Belgium: Soulwax, 2many DJs, The Subs and others, I have yet to find an equivalent from the US. It was not intended as a bash and I do recognize US artists like indeed LCD soundsystem, but I still think Europe has the overwhelming majority in innovation in areas such as deep house, minimalism and electro.

  • @sjrasimons Go listen to Daft Punk's Teachers you idiot. Majority of the DJ's they pay homage to are *gasp* Americans!

  • lol this song

  • yeah baby!

  • Best song evah in the worst video evah.

  • love that sound .. and its over before it becomes boring (unlike the most tracks of this kind ... and yes i know its a bit longer)

  • what a great video! and such a fresh track!

  • thorughout the whole video i was waiting for her to crash!

  • this would have been the best video ever if suddenly at 3:07 it went SMASH as she was hit by a truck

  • shit happens when you listen to house

  • I would wish that Falke and Alan were producing together.

I REALLY REALLY MISS their style... :(

  • I think I still have that Sony portable.

  • warning: DO NOT LISTEN TO THIS TRACK WHILE DRIVING! ;) seriously, the last half of this track will make you lose your mind in pure joy and engage in uncharacteristic driving habits...

  • @unlearn im replying you inside the prison

  • actually this song is apparently a Karate Kid cover, great

  • Yup. Alan Braxe and Fred Falke used the same build-up as the "Rythem Man", the original theme song for 'The Kirate Kid" =]

  • why dont they drive a jeep tj rubicon edition in the video?

  • Super tune :) another fantastic piece by Braxe and Falke!

  • 80s

  • The end is the best bit about it, so true. I cant keep my hands on the wheel when listening to killer tunes like this :D

  • 0:34 <3

  • Totally awesome

some of the chords reminds me a bit of YMO's Technopolis

  • the music is just wonderful, pure nostalgic-kick-ass melody.

  • is that alex greenwald from phantom planet at 2.13?

  • Montana thirds this...yeah... Montana...

  • im from mexico and I say the same

  • i`m from germany.....but 1 thing is for sure.....french house music rules da world

  • Comment removed

  • just beautiful :)

  • its on braxes the uppercuts for example

  • Best music to do an 80's montage to ever.

  • TUNE!

  • Well the album rubicon its hard to find, but erlend oye the nerdie dude of kings of convenience released an album in 2004 called dj kicks in that album you can find this song

  • thats no true dude...DJ-Kicks is not a person is a compilation about the best down tempo techno house music and Erlend Øye is the proyect about not DJ-Kicks...

  • but you can find "rubicon". don you?

soooooooooo, the question was where you can find it not erlend oye biography

    hahahahha

  • So um... is this on an album i can buy? I want this song, but I can't find it.

  • I am obsessed with this song. Can anyone tell me anything else like it?

  • alan braxe and fred falk along with thomas banglater are the greatest musicians in electronic music since ray lynch

  • I was thinking the exact same thing!

  • France is home to the best electro DJs

  • oui

  • France and Detroit :-)

  • An other great song from French Electronic Geniuses Alan Braxe & Fred Falke !

BIg Sucess among the House Fans in France, and i'm sure Americans like it too.

Buy CDs or Vinyl because there worth it !

    "Vive la France !"

  • This music video was made in "The Valley"... Van Nuys, California area to be exact. I think its pretty cool they decided to shoot the music video here instead of France. I wonder what the reason for that was... Also the Daft Punk video "Electroma" was also filmed in California. Near the Malibu area. But the question I had was who Directed this music video "Rubicon"... and who is the girl?

  • i used to have a volvo just like that one

  • when it came out, this song learned me that there was also a possibility for good electronic music

  • great melodic funky house,

this was one of my first electronic

    music experiences...

    falke&braxe forever!

  • I love this song!!!

  • My driving test took less time than this entire video.

    Awesome hit!

  • nice volvo.

  • nice video... sometimes good doesn't have to mean flashy, just a simple yet original idea

  • The video feels like a movie we've never seen from ancient times (The 70s) I think its great because its something unexpected. Theres enough claymation and cgi or "let me put my face in the camera" videos out there.

  • good job... pretty good vid...

  • the song's not bad, but the video kind of sucks.

  • it sucks

  • psh, you suck frenchy.

  • uh that was meant as a reply to "laztec", the song is amazing the video pretty nice.

  • cool

  • Th video doesnt do the song justice you need to listen to the un edited version to hear how good this song is

  • I totally agree!

  • sounds like Music Sounds Better With You

then I love it too! :))

  • i reeeally like that the best part of the song is when shes about to park by the pavement.. haha. gosh, i love this song. i must have been five years old when i first heard it.. yeah, something like that.. grejt song!

  • it would have been funny if at the end she just failed the test :P

  • good memories from driving certificate ;;;;;

"the examiner guy was telling me : damn could you go faster !!!! the car sucks !!"

  • chu chu chu...chu / chu chu chu...chu

  • I love the 80's rock sample at the start of the song. I have load's of disco album's I need to start chopping them up XD

  • One of my favourite track :D

  • i think a jeep rubicon would have been more appropriate

  • Alain Quême aka Alan Braxe was a member of Stardust together with Thomas Bangalter from Daft Punk and a guy called Benjamin Diamond. Their only track "Music sounds better with you" is one of the best selling house records ever...

But i think this track here is a bit cooler....

  • I must correct, it is THE best selling electronic music record ever... that's ill...

  • Where did you get this information?

  • how can it be the best selling its on loads of compilations but there was only ever one official 12" release Bangalter did this so that virgin didn't undercut him on the vinyl producing costs and make a dj friendly 12" for a cheaper price

he also made sure that he didnt sell it to the summer compilation albums without them putting the original and one of the remixes on so he got double royalties no other record could demand such things but stardust was a must have

  • Bangalter was offered three million dollars to produce a full Stardust album, but he turned it down. Imagine how different things would be now if he had. There would be no Daft Punk.

  • i personally think they would never be able to beat music sounds better with you so the album would flop

  • bangalter is a genius. if you think he would release a flop, think again

  • i think Bangalter is a genius and everything he does is great but where commercially Music Sounds Better With You was a hit an album of stuff like Vertigo and Club Soda would be great for Roulé fans but would not be good commercially stardust would then be known as the money hungry one hit wonders

Bangalter is one of the few artists today that is popular but is still more into making music than money

  • bangalter couldve made stardust into a hit machine. look at guetta and sinclar and their success. dont tell me bangalter isnt guetta X100. he could sell out and make a killing. but thank heavens he had stuck to his guns.

  • i didnt think of that :p your right all i am saying is i dont think that they could top Music Sounds Better With You although they could make some songs that destroy sinclar

  • Is that the phantom planet guy?????

  • Anyone know where this is shot?

  • Thursday, October 11th live in Toronto! I´m there... ;)

  • Yeah Allen Braxe has or does assist Daft

    Punk at times

  • wtf i thought something cool was gunna happen

  • the track is great!

the vid reminds me of the 80's*lol*

the only "wrong" thing in this clip is the discman, should have been a real walkman for cassettes.

    all in all pretty cool...

  • what a bunch of cuties

  • Love the number, video's fun.

  • early Daft Punk any1?
