  • How good is the audio quality? If you attach a good mic to it to obtain better audio, is there a point where the audio quality just levels off? Would this be good for making films and such? (My dslr doesn't have a mic input, so I need a separate audio recording device.) Sorry for all the questions, and thanks!

  • Hey Gr8 Video! I'm still waiting for my recorder. Must be here tomorrow...

And thanks for answering my questions. It helped me much with my decision!

  • Thanks for the demonstration. Very clear sound, and immediately makes the video interesting.

  • I want to know if Sony Recorder ICD PX312 admits playback in low speed. Thanks!

  • @facevedo666 I am not sure mate as i just use it to record normal, im not quite sure why you would want it to playback in low speed but i presume you could slow it down in some audio software any ways ;)

    Carl.

Thanks, Carl. Playback in low speed allows me to make easier the transcription in paper. However, do you know one of those audio softwares? Thanks again

  • @facevedo666 no worries mate, the only audio software that i use is "cool edit pro" ;)

  • @CarlGibsonPhoto Thanks once more

Hey I got 2 questions. Is it possible to record and listen to the stuff you record the same time useing headphones?

And is the Audio-In Mono or stereo?

    thanks

  • @BIKERofDEVIL I am not quite sure it says on the box Mono/Stereo! also I have never tried with the headphones, it has a headphone jack so I presumes it would, what I usually do is test it first before I record properly ;) sorry I couldn't help much.

  • I want to know if the Sony Digital Voice Recorder ICD-PX312 admits playback in low speed. Thanks!

  • Hey! you said you are using a audio software to lower the background noise of the mic, could you explain a bit more about how you did that? Thanks in advance, Ala.

  • @MissProud2be Hey Ala, i did mention in the video that i would do such a thing but after listening to it back i decided not too, so the sound you can hear is without any audio edit. ;) but if i was going to edit audio and reduce the noise, i have a piece of software called cool edit pro which would make it sound a bit better with some noise reduction and other effects. look up cool edit pro tutorials which would give you some ideas, hope that helped. ;)

    Carl.
