  • @Buggaswatching - You can OR you can just cut the layers separately. When you go to cut,it asks you if you want to cut all layers at once OR one at a time.

  • After you have welded the letters, then do you move each layer to a blank place on the mat/paper to cut?

  • I love that information, I never used the craft room cause I just didn't get it, thanks for sharing

  • Thank you - this was very helpful!

  • @mcg267 - The colors are just to help you design. It will cut out with whatever color paper you put into the machine.

@723mash - New layer is just like the Gypsy where there are separate mats. But, when you go to cut, there is an option to put all the layers on one mat OR keep them on separate layers.

@upnorthsew - I can work on a video showing that.

  • Are the colors on the Craftroom just used to help you design what you might like? The colors won't really matter at all once you actually cut your paper right. Say right now if you cut the word joy just as it is but your paper is pink in your Cricut, it will cut pink. Right? Is that confusing?

  • TFS! Please keep them coming. ;0)

  • Thanks for the tutorial. Question.....when you say "new layer" or "same layer" is that like the gypsy where you can add pages? When you go to cut this, will you have to cut each "layer" separately? I hope that made sense!! Thanks!

  • Thanks for the great tutorial. I have a question. Is there a way to repeat the actions you took to create the finished JOY with butterfly so you can cut multiples images on each layer by grouping and repeating? I think this would be a great tutorial for production line cards. I remember a repeat image process somewhere in the instructions, so once you have the first layer image complete you repeat X times and wahlah. Do for each layer and good to go!

  • Thanks for these tutorials, I'm learning so much!

  • It sure did help! I have been having trouble sizing and welding. Thank-you!!
