who would've thought in 1981, Eno would end up being a rather pathetic grumpy old man whose done all he's going to musically, and Byrne your average washed up pop star. You couldn't make it up.
...as for ENO...I think that producing 'The Joshua Tree/Unforgettable fire/Achtung Baby' from U2 and producing : Peter Gabriel/John Cale/Coldplay/Sinead O'Connor/ David Bowie/David Byrne/Laurie Anderson(list goes on and on) is a pretty good resume. What have you produced?...Ah, I thought so.
@underpressuremusic yeah, he did do that, and I'm not taking it away from him, those are real accheivements. My point is that Eno has gone crap in recent years. His recent solo material leaves much to be desired (unlike his masterworks of the 70s and 80s) and his production is not as... recognisable as it used to be. He is still doing stuff, which is better than nothing, but it's declined in standard enormously.
Superb!

@kosmischesynth Who would think that a hundred years from now you'll be a pile of worm-chewed bones? Evidently not you.

@kosmischesynth Weird to contemplate the someday when Google employee omega flips the switch, and we all promptly disappear, universe-like.

I hate David Byrne. He sucked at CBGB in '74 and he sucks now.

If he sucks so bad why would you spend 35 years listening someone you hate?
I don't think you are going to provoke anyone here. You are entitled to your opinion.

agree tinyboy, tough choice as the standard was so high, but this song was exceptional when I saw him in Melbourne. Fantastic gig !
