It doesn't really hurt when you get it done - just a bit nippy but seriously my industrial is the most pain in the ass piercing I've ever had! Healing process is long cos it's two piercings trying to heal whilst joined together. Looks awesome though so I would totally recommend getting it done :)

@howielover1113 I got mine done about two hours ago and I'm not going to lie, it hurt like a bitch. Even though mine hurt, everyone has different pain tolerence levels so while mine hurt yours could tickle, it just depends on your body. I can say it was totally worth the pain. I would highly reccommend it. :)

It's not as bad as people are making it out to be. I went in getting mine expecting it to be the worst pain ever but it was definitely no worse than getting any other piercing--I've had worse. The worst part is just having to look after it while it heals up, especially if you have long hair like I do.

Depends on what cartlidge you pierced....I have a barbell piercing and it hurt. Not used to pain anymore like when I was younger, but the thicker the cartlidge is the more painful it could be.

well, where i live (nyc) you need to be 18 to get it by yourself. with your parents consent, you could get it at any age. as for it being done anywhere, it just depends how new the place is. the newer the peircing/tatoo place the less likly you can get it.

i asked a bunch of people before i got it done and 1 girl out of 20 people asked said it didnt hurt at all. I ahve to say mine was one of the most painless piercings i ahve besides my ears. Furthermore Mike (the piercer) is totally rad and such a cutie!! since my industrial he has done my right nostril (i now have my double nostril done now) and soon to be my septum :)

ink from the marking for the angle that she wanted. they make a mark so that they know where exactly they are going to pierce through, lets them see what it will look like and lets you get a preview of how it will turn out.
