  • "Impatience"焦燥(しょうそう) would be a more proper english translation of the song title. Even though the title is still very valid. Onyomi readings of jukugo can be interpreted differently depending on the given context.

Just as how 刺激(しげき) pretty much means exactly the same thing. Fucking onyomis man. A pain in the butt is what they are.

  • I'm currently reading the manga, and the chapter this scene was in was called "Uneasiness"

  • I think 'Impatience' suits this song better

  • @sunshine1110 when you consider wound and injury with irritation, it does make sense. It's like saying the subject is something that is poking at or irritating an unhealed wound.

  • i really love this movie this is a jewel of secret anime movies :D

  • @thelittlepuminlady im pretty sure this anime is not a secret :D

    a lot know about this

  • Wheres Track 02 then?

  • song makes me sad, reminds me of loving someone for so long... with another person :'(

  • oh my god, in that scene I wanted to somehow get inside the movie and push that train forward! I couldn't stop blubbering...

  • @niulicious wow nice answer and i feel the same way when he's at the train for like 5 hours

  • In the end the train spent around 2 hours motionless in the middle of nowhere.

Every minute seemed like an eternity.

Time felt heavy with malice, as it slowly crept by..

All i could do is grip my teeth and try to hold back my tears...

    Akari.......Please......Please.......Dont wait for me...

If you just go back home...

  • This theme always gives me a heart-wrenching feeling :(.

  • 焦燥 in both mandarin and japanese means impatience.

  • I think it isn't irritation but deep heartbreaking disappiontment. You know when you want something so badly but you can't get it, can't feel it because it's too far away.

  • its because they didn't became honest to what they really feel towards each other that they didn't end up together..

  • I like it but it doesn't give me the feeling of irritation. Was it supposed to? If so, it didn't deliver.

  • Wow, it's been almost 2 years since you posted this. HOW DID I NOT FIND THIS BEFOREEE XD

  • Wow this so sad and moving, I love how they used distant everyday memorie's rythem to make a new emotion in a new song.

  • ya...this was the part where Takaki was in tears hoping she wasn't still there waiting...I wept for him...for the whole situation he was in really

  • loll FonMasterReplica you got it wrong Takaki is running after here and tells here to wait for him but the train passes en before the train comes she sed Takaki-kun lets come here next year again or am i wrong

  • there's no music playing during that scene. but after the scene, "Cherry Blossom Extract" plays.

  • I think she says "lets watch the cherry blossoms fall next year, Takaki-kun" or something..

  • love it

  • This was one of the most moving scenes to me... when Takaki says, "Akari, don't wait for me... if you'd just go home..." it really brings home the scene.

  • I dont remember reading that line from the subtitles. If you don't mind, please tell me the episode and which scene it's from ?

  • it is when takaki is on the stopped train that is in a snow storm.

  • Thanks for the quick reply. =D

  • @FonMasterReplica @ 00:46 that exact moment. I hear his voice. Every time.

  • man this movie realy got to me and the song was realy deep.

  • wow thanks for uploading.. these songs are amazingly sad... so as the movie.. sobs..
