its a heroic allosaurus who just save the diplodocus' baby. just like land before time movie, chomper's parents even save litle foot's life and the others rather than chomper's life only, dont deny your childhood NERDS!!
@lifeform106 it doesnt matter bro, leave them if they hate it, they are not like us, we like this vids cuz we reflect too, not becuz its meat eater, it scavenge for meat only, how bout being a good neighbor, just like what god said, love your enemies. love your neighbor .
Dinosaur Revolution was never meant to be a documentry in the first place, originally, it was for entertainment. But then some people decided to make it seem more sciencey, and added all the talking heads and stuff, and as the narrator says at 0:53
at 0:38 the dino tells him "NO!!!!" then at 1:00 he gets whipped at 1:12 he's like stay down and runs for the baby dino then at 1:24 he slaps dat ass then at 1:35 the baby dino punches then kicks? hahahahahaha
Apparently the creators of this think that there must be dinosaurs every hundred feet or so, and you can't even walk around without randomly stepping on them and setting off a chain of hatred.
Torvo: Got you! Now show me your p**sy! * Flips body Baby Din: Stay away from me you freak! *Kicks Torvo: Oww!! Feisty! *Bites Baby Din: ARGH! MOM! HELP ME!! *Kicks Mum: DON"T TOUCH MY GIRL YOU MONSTER!! Torvo: Ahaha!! Watch me!! Baby Din: *2x Kicks Allo: Don't mess with my girlfriend! She's mine!! *Bites Torvo's neck Torvo: ARGH! Meddlesome PUNK! *Throws Allo down and Kicks *Mum got up and chasing up Mum: Hey you! Pick up someone your own size! Torvo: Erk! Listen to me it's all a mista--
The CGI is quite good, but the action is totally ridiculous and unrealistic, which is why CGI artists need to respect the fact that they are not performers or zoologists and sometimes need advice from professionals instead of just creaming their shorts over their wire-frames and texture mapping.
@4017jman2 Okay. First of all. When you flip a big sauropod, it doesn't just simply get back up and chase you. The heavy body takes a serious blow from falling. But lets talk more about a simple carnivore probably one fifth the body weight of the same sauropod flipping it over easily. And then, let's talk about the smaller carnivore simply attacking the bigger carnivore for no real reason. Then the bigger carnivore stands still and gets stomped. You really think that would happen?
@ParleLeVu That's not all, it's more illogical then it looks. The smaller carnivore (Allosaurus) is attacking the bigger Torvosaurus basically because it's helping the sauropod. The same sauropod had broke the Allosaurus's jaw when it was a baby but later after the Allosaurus healed it bit part of the sauropod's tail off. Apparently this made them even and led to some sort of mutual respect or something because in this clip they are working together to bring down the Torvosaurus.
@NoviLunar All in all, the scenario is pretty much stupid. There are other flaws in there as well, but I can't be fucked pointing out all of them. The agility of predatory dinosaurs was also greater than what they show.
How could Torvosaurus push over a heavy sauropod dinosaur so easy! And even if it could why not just jump on the push over sauropod and kill it!!!! And the way these dinosaurs are moving are so not that real! Discovery you did bad this time in documentaries!!!!!!
OK. so the torvosaurus got up, wanted to eat the baby dinheirosaurus, nearly stepped on the miragaia baby, got punked by one, took down the dinheirosaurus adult, ran off saying Fuck you! bitch, I'm goin after ya freakin baby! and I just gave you the prehistoric middle finger!
Their movements are too fast. Creatures this size shouldn't be moving like they're weightless. Just watch a video of an elephant run or just move for that matter.
this is misleading, sure THAT allosaurus specimen may have been smaller than THAT torvosaurus, but, a full-grown allosaurus would have been larger than any torvo.
The graphics are amazing, so they finally have the means to make a great documentary. What I've been waiting and hoping for, for a long time now. Don't ruin it with stupid narrating, don't make disney-dino's and stop with the silly scenario's. I wouldn't even mind if there was no music and no narrator at all. Make it life-like and believable. Make me feel like I'm in the distant past and these animals are real and magnificent. Again, you have the tools, just take a different approach plz
No because the mother Dinheirosaurus was trying to the Torvosaurus because he hurt her baby. The Allosaurus was trying to the Torvosaurus because of the terrtory!
:) And no, Dinosaurs could never be racist so get your facts right!
and epic0studios, he must have went for the baby because he was an easy meal, because he was wounded! :)
production seems to be somewhat indifferent if not outright bad and depiction of animal behaviour is downright weird if not utterly fanciful. see the episode on the mososaur where the mom grunts to her pup - its like a clip from sharkosaur v. dinocroc or something. although the idea is great - making it movie like with minimal narration, there seems to be very little authenticity to actual dinosaur behaviour.
this is pretty realistic except from maybe when the torvosaurus just rammed the adult sauropod and when the allosaurus attacked the torvosaurus but other than that it make perfect sense the torvosaurus would prefer the small sauropod it is much easier to kill and the reaction of the stegosaurs is really good whats wrong with that? also you all know that a show about dinosaurs without allosaurus its not gonna work it is almost like t-rex in his "vip status"
Guys, I'm a hardcore dinosaur fan and nitpick the shit out of everything dinosaur. But this isn't a documentary, it's an entertainment show. So watch the damn thing for what is and enjoy it.
Also, the models themselves are accurate and are just gorgous, that's something.
@TheKamacuras XD I'm a HUGE dino fan and I'm LOVING this. I think it's accurate, infact, I'm unsure as to why many are saying it is.
1- Look at the size difference of The Torvo and the Dinheiro. I think if the sauropod was leaning in the opposite direction (which it probably was) then the Torvo easily could've done that.
2 - The animal that attacked the Torvo was a Ceratosaurus. It probably attacked the Torvo hoping for a chance to steal the baby. It was likely fueled by adrenaline.
@ApexPredator1000 At least I think it's a ceratosaurus. Or maybe it's a young allosaurus. Yes, it's a young one for I have read that allosaurus is slightly larger than a Torvosaurus
@ApexPredator1000 On average Torvosaurus was larger, on a single vertabrae hints that Allosaurus was larger. Also, this is Allosaurus europaeus, which is smaller than North American Allosaurus (if they are serprate species)
this smaller carnivore is allosaurus; it's had it's jaw broken as a 'chick' by one of the large sauropods, when it got tail whipped...but it survived & prospered; until the torvosaurus got to the watering hole, the crooked jawed allosaurus was the dominant predator of the area.
Torvosaurus would not have been able to knock down that Dinheirosaurus simply by tackling it's side Gigonautosaurus (sorry if I misspelled it) and many other Tyrannosaurs have been shown clawing and standing and doing the exact same things on creatures like Argentinosaurus without the herbivore falling over. Their mating alone is a bigger weight to carry than Torvosaurus.
@ToxicDooM96 average size of allosaurus is around 8-10 meters, and torvosaurus is 9-11 meters.some older allosaurus could get to the size of an average torvosaurus or even larger(if epanterias(12 meters)and saurophaganax(11 meters)are actually large allosaurus)
now, im not the smartest man, actually, im one of the dumbest.. but can someone explain to me how do scientists now the color, skin pattern and the eye color of dinosaurs just based off their bones?
@conradkolo in most dinosaurs they don´t but some fossils were found with skin inprinted in ground or feathers with color cells still in them(as they shown in a some show where they found the color of Anchiornis and some show where they found skin of argentinosaurus and some hadrosaur) and some eggs maybe have a developed baby that haven´t yet hached, but mostly they just guess how they maybe looked like by the skin and color of modern reptiles
@MrPwnagemeister Did you see how fast it could move? It completely knocked down a several ton sauropod within 4 seconds. A quick bite to the jugular and a bit of strangulation and that Dinheirosaurus would have been Dinnerosaurus.
@Epic0Studios Yeah, but the neck of a sauropod was actually tougher than people think it is. Especially adults. Sure it could have been pierced by a Torvosaurus bite, but there's another reason.
With the sauropod wriggling around so much, it would have made a hard target. It even could have possibly knocked the Torvo right off of its feet with one swipe if it.
@MrPwnagemeister But a fallen sauropod is a lot easier than chasing after another young.
I'm just saying it was a pacing error. Like the Allosaurus and the Miragaia showing up in a split second. They had to deal with timing, I'm look looking for a real answer. I'm just nitpicking
@Situationskomiker The Torvosaur was the one that slapped the Allosaur and forced him away from his tree. Now heroism drove the Allosaur to redeem his stolen estate.
@Situationskomiker No. You see, if you watch the full episode, Torvosaurus took over the watering hole, and thus ruining Allosaurus chance to hunt the weak one. However, when Allosaurus attacked Torvosaurus, he got injured, but escaped. And well, Allo got his revenge, and the plant-eaters were defending themselves
@Situationskomiker They're not teaming up, the meat eating dino had a fight with the Torvasaurus and wanted revenge. The others were just defending their young
I can imagine it flailing it's legs, but a kick with the foreleg, and then the hind leg like some kung fu master? I don't think so. Those are some anthropomorphic qualities in there. 1:35
@simfamSP during the dry seasons, many animals put aside their desire to kill on another for drinking water, and this one asshole didn't behave properly
Why would Ceratosaurus risk attacking a much larger Torvosaurus, entirely unprovoked? Is it just me or would cheetahs/wild dogs back off when a pack of lion reaches a watering hole to drink?
@ImAnotherZang it´s allosaurus and he didn´t attacked the torvosaurus unprovoked,he probably wanted to steal his prey or wanted to kill the competition, but the allosaurus of that size probably wouldn´t attack another predator so much bigger, maybe a bigger older allosaurus that would be the simmilar size of the torvosaurus would attack him or the pack of smaller allosaurus like this one
@TheRaptorsaur I thought I saw a horn, my mistake it is allosaurus lol. but yes, I still don't think Allosaurus would risk fighting Torvosaurus, a predator much bigger than he is, and I suspect that from what I heard, Allosaurus did have rather a complex brain compared to much of jurassic animals, so if that's true, I suspect that Allosaurus would have weighed the options and decide (not consciously) it's not worth the risk.
@ImAnotherZang yeah, and as the torvosaurus was allready hunting, allosaurus would probably wait for him to make a kill before trying to steal his prey,or maybe even,as the prey(sauropod)was large,he would help him to kill the prey and share a meal(but i don´t think he would,as they both were probably teritorial and weren´t cooperating with carnivores of other species.not impossible, but he probably wouldn´t)
@TheRaptorsaur Exactly. That's the part I don't understand - an unprovoked attack by a far smaller predator, who based on the fossil evidence (from waht I heard), should have been able to know better. I mean most large predators would choose to evade eachother to avoid a full on confrontation so what's in the video don't happen to them. That just doesn't make much sense to me
@ImAnotherZang It may have been a female Allosaurus that may have grown agitated by all the noise or the confrontation itself. Perhaps she may have attacked if her young had been nearby.
By the way whats the name of the spiked stegosaur looking dinosaur?

Wait...If the Torvosaurus could knock down that Dinheirosaurus adult so easily, then why did it even bother going after the baby?
Epic0Studios 5 months ago 25
@Epic0Studios Because it could have been kicked in the face and could have died instantly.
MrPwnagemeister 5 months ago
@MrPwnagemeister Did you see how fast it could move? It completely knocked down a several ton sauropod within 4 seconds. A quick bite to the jugular and a bit of strangulation and that Dinheirosaurus would have been Dinnerosaurus.
Epic0Studios 5 months ago
@Epic0Studios Yeah, but the neck of a sauropod was actually tougher than people think it is. Especially adults. Sure it could have been pierced by a Torvosaurus bite, but there's another reason.
With the sauropod wriggling around so much, it would have made a hard target. It even could have possibly knocked the Torvo right off of its feet with one swipe if it.
Oh, and nice pun :D
MrPwnagemeister 5 months ago
@MrPwnagemeister But a fallen sauropod is a lot easier than chasing after another young.
I'm just saying it was a pacing error. Like the Allosaurus and the Miragaia showing up in a split second. They had to deal with timing, I'm look looking for a real answer. I'm just nitpicking
Epic0Studios 5 months ago
@Epic0Studios That's a good point.
Teleporting dinos of death! XD
MrPwnagemeister 5 months ago
@Epic0Studios Well, demonstrates the Torvo's thinking capabilities compared to the Allo.
GigaSpinoTrex 5 months ago
@Epic0Studios Probably Because the Baby Was much more vulnerable So it be an easy kill and that its not able to run away so quickly
wowwft1 5 months ago
@Epic0Studios But the full-grown sauropod was already knocked down, and taken by surprise. Easy. The juvenile was running already.
I think the Torvosaurus is just stupid.
Epic0Studios 5 months ago
@Epic0Studios much less risk, it was lucky the adult fell over

Why were the plant-eaters and the meat-eating Allosaurus teaming up on the Torvosaurus? Just because he had a black face?
Racist dinos.
Situationskomiker 5 months ago 29
@Situationskomiker racist dinos. lol!
modernfuzzfare2 5 months ago
@Situationskomiker Entirely possible that the Allosaurus was trying to drive Torvosaurus off so he could claim the kill for himself.
Gunganfan 5 months ago
@Situationskomiker The Torvosaur was the one that slapped the Allosaur and forced him away from his tree. Now heroism drove the Allosaur to redeem his stolen estate.
silverdragon23455 5 months ago
@Situationskomiker No. You see, if you watch the full episode, Torvosaurus took over the watering hole, and thus ruining Allosaurus chance to hunt the weak one. However, when Allosaurus attacked Torvosaurus, he got injured, but escaped. And well, Allo got his revenge, and the plant-eaters were defending themselves
dharakdarkfire 5 months ago
@Situationskomiker They're not teaming up, the meat eating dino had a fight with the Torvasaurus and wanted revenge. The others were just defending their young

The baby kicking the head? It had such a human and fake feeling to it.
huyked 5 months ago
@huyked no it doesnt. it only makes sense that it tries to defend itself. most animals today do the same thing i bet.

I can imagine it flailing it's legs, but a kick with the foreleg, and then the hind leg like some kung fu master? I don't think so. Those are some anthropomorphic qualities in there. 1:35

Why would Ceratosaurus risk attacking a much larger Torvosaurus, entirely unprovoked? Is it just me or would cheetahs/wild dogs back off when a pack of lion reaches a watering hole to drink?
ImAnotherZang 5 months ago
@ImAnotherZang It was probably Allosaurus europaeus, not Ceratosaurus.
AllosaurusFragilis1 5 months ago
@AllosaurusFragilis1 Allosaurus was deffinitely bigger than that!
AlexTriceratops123 5 months ago
@ImAnotherZang
It's an allosaurus but yeah I agree. Things just seem to happen at random in this vid.
windowsVD 5 months ago
@ImAnotherZang it´s allosaurus and he didn´t attacked the torvosaurus unprovoked,he probably wanted to steal his prey or wanted to kill the competition, but the allosaurus of that size probably wouldn´t attack another predator so much bigger, maybe a bigger older allosaurus that would be the simmilar size of the torvosaurus would attack him or the pack of smaller allosaurus like this one
TheRaptorsaur 5 months ago
@TheRaptorsaur I thought I saw a horn, my mistake it is allosaurus lol. but yes, I still don't think Allosaurus would risk fighting Torvosaurus, a predator much bigger than he is, and I suspect that from what I heard, Allosaurus did have rather a complex brain compared to much of jurassic animals, so if that's true, I suspect that Allosaurus would have weighed the options and decide (not consciously) it's not worth the risk.
ImAnotherZang 5 months ago
@ImAnotherZang yeah, and as the torvosaurus was allready hunting, allosaurus would probably wait for him to make a kill before trying to steal his prey,or maybe even,as the prey(sauropod)was large,he would help him to kill the prey and share a meal(but i don´t think he would,as they both were probably teritorial and weren´t cooperating with carnivores of other species.not impossible, but he probably wouldn´t)
TheRaptorsaur 5 months ago
@TheRaptorsaur Exactly. That's the part I don't understand - an unprovoked attack by a far smaller predator, who based on the fossil evidence (from waht I heard), should have been able to know better. I mean most large predators would choose to evade eachother to avoid a full on confrontation so what's in the video don't happen to them. That just doesn't make much sense to me
ImAnotherZang 5 months ago
@ImAnotherZang It may have been a female Allosaurus that may have grown agitated by all the noise or the confrontation itself. Perhaps she may have attacked if her young had been nearby.
azbazmaz1 5 months ago
@azbazmaz1 true..but would she not try to scare off the attacker first? The Allosaurus in the video simply went and bit Torvosaurus in the neck.
