Why won’t the climate change scientific community, enter into debate with the deniers? Why do the hysterian’s refuse to open up the raw data to the public?

Amusing video, but deniers better get a firm grip on reality - 8 of the warmest 10 years globally occurred in the 2000s; the 2000s were warmer than the '90s, which were warmer than the 80s, which were warmer than the 70s, and so on. I'm a GW skeptic, but the calls for jail time are insane. If he just made up numbers and put them in, that's worthy of charges, but that's not what he did. He switched data sources at a time. Scientists have dozens of these decisions to make - whether to throw out outliers, normalize data, etc. They're not cut and dry decisions.
The emails which were exposed in the "climategate" show where him and his collegues intentionally modified temperatures so as to create models which would prove their hypothesis and therefore give them more grant money.
@dajw02 They chose a convienent (too convienent) place to swap data sources. That's not the same as making up numbers. All scientists are biased toward their hypotheses, that's why replication is so important. I agree the emails are damning, but they don't indicate conscious fraud.

Human beings produce less than 10 percent of the carbon dioxide in our atmosphere which is just .038 percent. The real driving force behind climate change is the wobble of the earth's axis (Google Precession of the Equinoxes) and nobody, not even Al Gore or Barak Obama can stop it!
@AcePilot2009 Can you present any data, any at all, to back up your theory? Astronomers and astrophysicists keep up with this phenomenon, so there must be corroborating data that the wobble has relatively quickly intensified and that this has caused greater heat retention globally, not just hemispherically.

@coldwarvet75 There is literally tens of trillions of dollars at stake by the energy companies in this debate. I would say their motivation to provide Pavlovian rewards to those who would argue against anthropogenic global warming are far greater than anyone else. Climate scientists are highly educated intelligent people that could easily make more money working for someone like ExxonMobile that toiling away over climate data. If money were their motivation, they could make much more elsewhere.

The fact is that traditional energy sources will not be replaced with wind & sun. The expansion of energy used throughout the globe is at a mushroom pace. Cap & Tax is not going to be imposed on the developing world where US factories and jobs will be headed with its enactment.

However, what I see happening in the next decade or so is that energy technology comprised of biodiesel (possibly dominated by algal), natural gas, wind, solar, and possibly nuclear will replace much of traditional coal, oil, and gas energy for a variety of reasons: peak oil, national security (for industrialized nations), climate change, etc. The US and the Eurozone will be striving for energy independence through these developing technologies.

Like I said; “the demand for their energy products is mushrooming”” as developing nations are adding hundreds of thousands of new combustion engines into the global market place every year. They actually have a product that the global market place is willing to purchase.
