im wondering if you can help me, i have some skull candy very basic ones, inked i think, and yh they are great and the only problem i have with them the actual wire, is a bit stiff, like if they are tangled and stuff they kinda stay in a stiff position, because the coating the wire is protected by is like a thick plastic compared to say the thin ones on official ipod headphones would be a better way to describe the difference, im wondering if these are like the inked if so i may be swayed away

@agnosmax No these are metal so they longer than most in-ear earphones. If you're looking for REAL durability, check out the Skullcandy FMJ's (Full Metal Jacket). Those are slightly bigger at the buds, but they are complete metal, even the cord (the TiTans' cord is plastic or rubber, I think).

YOUR WRONG. the difference in the ink'd and the titan is the size of the driver... the ink'd are a 9mm and the titan are a 11mm which is a HUGE difference.

Actually, they didn't. I was wondering about that. They only came with 3 rubber plugs. That could be part of the reason that they're cheaper now. So far, I'm fine with the rubber ones though.

Yeah, that's what I own, but the rubber part of them, not the part that fits in your ear, the longer part that fits over the wiring, is starting to rip. They still sound great an everything, but i'm looking for a new pair.

Sorry, i really disagree that SC Titan is a good earphone. The highs are too piercing and the lows are not well-defined. Changing to the COMPLY foams make the highs tolerable but the mid-range and lows are not clear. Maybe you try other earphones (Audio Technica, Sennheiser) of the same price range to make a comparison.

i know someone that stole some 2 days ago and he told me they started putting lock things so that only the target people cud open the things up so they make sure your pay for them. The titans were the only skullcandy's product that wasnt locked. He said he just took the package and hid in another part of the store with about one camera and no ppl and he opened the package and put em in his pocket. He stole me a pair too. They're alryt except the right bud hurts, the left is quit comfortable
