If you can play the song on the computer then it can be recorded with this. Better you get Camtasia studio 7 and use the record system audio function

its not meant for games, its for tutorials

use fraps. this wont get the frame rates for games

looks up beeba fraps.

warning tho because it needs to get a good frame rate for recording theres no time used on compression, so you end up avi vids gigs in size.

but worth it in the end, you can later compress the footage with a video editor

hey dude after i finished making my video, this may sound stupid but.. how the hell do i save it?...

Well first you save the project. Then look to the bottom left where is says "Produce" and click "produce video as" and then choose a format. If you plan to post high definition videos on youtube then you must make a custom preset. Videos like that can be found all over youtube.

how do you record input sound with camtasia

Well if you have a microphone you can record sound by clicking the microphone button on the recorder.

If you want to record the system sound. You can go to the drop down arrow next to the microphone and click option and if you're lucky you may be able to select "speaker audio (what you hear)" If you cannot then your sound card is the problem. Try to update drivers etc.

* Some sound cards just do not have capability to do this. I hope you're one of the lucky ones because i'm not

the option speaker audio is not there and i use onboard sound on my motherboard asus p6t deluxe
